This application is for artists and creators to sell things they have created themselves. If you are looking for a vendor booth to sell things you did not create, please fill out the vendor application. If you are looking for a table to promote another convention, event or non-profit organization, please contact communications@coanimefest.com

Colorado Anime Fest's Artist Alley participants are selected by a juried process. Candidates will be evaluated based on the quality of artistry or craftsmanship, uniqueness and novelty of the product, and potential appeal to Colorado Anime Fest attendees. We try hard to prevent too much overlap in product types and styles among artists chosen. Some preference is given to Colorado-based artists, but we welcome artists from all over the country and try to have a balance of the two. A waiting list will be kept to fill spots that open up after initial selection. Additional applications will not be added to the waiting list after the application period has ended.

Applicants will be notified around August 1st 2026 if they are accepted or wait-listed. Please do not contact us earlier, we receive hundreds of applications and the process takes a long time. You can view your application status and edit your application through Eventeny. Please only contact us if you have a problem or conflict. Thank you for your understanding.

About the event

Colorado Anime Fest will return to the Denver Marriott Tech Center on March 20 - March 22, 2026. Colorado Anime Fest was founded in 2014 by a group of friends with decades of combined experience, having run dozens of events across the country. We held our first convention in February 2016. And we wouldn’t be where we are today without our amazing, dedicated staff. Colorado Anime Fest has donated $25,101 to local charities to date. We’re also a member of the Japan America Society of Colorado.

Submitting this application means that you have read and understood the terms of the attached contract.

Please note that Artists' Alley is only intended for people selling things they have created themselves.

The following are not allowed:
AI-Generated images
Proxy sellers
Traced or heavily referenced images
Products whose focus is the recreation of a logo or recognizable symbol
Use of trademarked series names or phrases
3D prints of downloaded models

Colorado Anime Fest requires artists to comply with all common industry standards and practices regarding fanart. More information is included in the attached contract. If you are unsure, please feel free to email artistsalley@coanimefest.com and ask before filling out this form.

PLEASE NOTE: You will need a Special Event Tax License in order to sell at Colorado Anime Fest, no matter what your tax situation is otherwise. More information can be found here: https://tax.colorado.gov/special-event-license

Prices

1 Table Space (1 Badge Included)	$200.00	Non-refundable	A full table is 6′ wide and 30" deep (this may vary) and comes in a space at least 6'x6' with a wall behind. You will not be able to hang things directly on this wall. Table setups will be directly adjacent to another artist and most tables will have other artists on both sides with a gap on one side for exit purposes. Electrical outlets will not be available. Position within the room will be determined after selections are made. Provided payment method will be charged approximately 1 week after approval.
Additional Badge	$50.00	Non-refundable	Artists may purchase up to 2 additional badges, in addition to the ones that come with the Artist table space.
