“Gathering on the Grounds” – A New Farmers, Artisans & Makers Market with Friday Night Entertainment The South Mississippi Fair Commission is excited to announce the debut of “Gathering on the Grounds”, a vibrant new community event celebrating farmers, artisans, and makers held the second Friday night from May to August. This unique event will take place at the Laurel Fairgrounds and feature an exciting mix of handmade goods, fresh produce, and one-of-a-kind creations from talented vendors and farmers. Adding to the fun, the event will include live entertainment followed by a movie on the lawn, creating the perfect family-friendly atmosphere for all to enjoy. Guests can shop, dine at the food truck court , and relax while experiencing the best of what our community has to offer. Vendor Applications Now Open! We invite all interested vendors to apply and be part of this exciting new event.
