The vendor fee for this event is $30, and will be charged on April 14th.
Vendors understand and agree that their assigned space must be set up by the start of the event and all vehicles used for unloading purposes must be off the market lot by 30 minutes prior to that start time and can return no earlier than the conclusion of the event once pedestrians have vacated the grounds.
Which the exception of food trucks, vehicles are not permitted on the event site during event hours. Food trucks that are trailers pulled by trucks will need to be able to detach from the hauling vehicle.
Vendors agree to utilize public parking.
Vendors understand that they are expected to be in attendance for the full operating hours of the market or event.
Please do not leave your booth unattended, we are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen objects.
Vendors are responsible for their own set up, clean up, and trash removal.
Please be prepared for wind. Vendors agree that they are required to provide their own tent weights, which must be no less than 25lbs per leg, which must be either canopy sand bags or canopy weights that can attach to the tent legs. Cinderblocks are not a permitted tent weight option. If you do not have appropriate tent weights, The Market on Dearborn will provide them (on an as available basis) for an additional $20 fee.
Vendors agree that The Market on Dearborn staff may take pictures and videos of the market and booths, for marketing purposes, and agree that The Market on Dearborn may share pictures containing their likeness and merchandise on The Market on Dearborn website and social media platforms.
Booth fees will not be refunded if the Vendor is asked to leave The Market on Dearborn by TMOD staff or a government agency due to non-compliance with event or government regulations.
If you are selling cottage foods, please familiarize yourself with the cottage food law. It is your responsibility to label products and follow the Cottage Food Law Guidelines.
If you are selling foods which do not fall under the Cottage Law list, please include a copy of your food license from DBPR or FDACs.
Sales tax where required by state is the responsibility of the seller. Vendors are responsible for collecting sales tax and sending to the Florida Department of Revenue by the due date.
Vendors are required to carry a liability insurance policy of $1 million in coverage and add The Market on Dearborn as an additional insured upon notice of acceptance for the event date.
Any used, resale, or flea market merchandise; religious and political groups; petitioning; and signature gathering are not allowed at The Market on Dearborn.
The Market on Dearborn does not guarantee exclusivity.
In consideration of participating in such activity, the participant does hereby release and forever discharge The Market on Dearborn, its officers, staff, jointly and severally, from any and all actions, causes of injury, which hereafter may be sustained by participants, merchants, vendors, spectators, or others in consequence of participating in The Market on Dearborn’s Farmers Market or Special Event. This release extends and applies to, and also covers and includes, all unknown, unforeseen, unanticipated, and unsuspected injuries, damages, loss and liability, and the consequences thereof, as well as those not disclosed and known to exist. The provisions or any state, federal, local or territorial law or stature providing in substance that releases shall not extend to claims, demands, injuries, or damages which are unknown or unsuspected to exit at the time, to the person executing such leases, are hereby expressly waived. I hereby agree on behalf of my heirs, executor, administrators, and assigns to indemnify The Market on Dearborn jointly and severally, and hold harmless from and against any and all actions, claims, demands, and liabilities, loss, damages, and expense of whatever kind or nature, including attorney fees, which may at any time be incurred by reason of my participation in The Market on Dearborn Farmers Market or Special Event. It is further agreed and understood that said allowance of my participation in The Market on Dearborn Farmers Market or Special Event is not to be construed as an admission of any liability and acceptance of assumption of responsibility by The Market on Dearborn, its officers and members, jointly and severally, for all damages and expenses for which The Market on Dearborn, its officers and staff, jointly and severally, become liable as a result of any alleged act of the festival participant.
This completed application constitutes a “contract” between you, the applicant, and The Market on Dearborn.
