On Site Sales All sales onsite will be by debit or Credit Card – NO Cash, Etransfer There is NO cash sales or etransfer allowed on site. First offense for cash sales or etranfer onsite is a $250.00 fine, taken from your deposit. Second offense is immediate closure of the portion of the site that was found using cash or etransfer (food tent, cultural goods sales tent etc.)EHFA Fees2021 cost of debit and credit sales averaged 0.8%. This averaged cost will be added to pavilion charges for food, cultural goods and services.How to price your FOOD itemsFor food items, Heritage Festival charges 15.8% (.8% for bank costs).If you are a charity or otherwise GST exempt, use the multiplier 1.1877 in order to get the price you want from your food or drink. So, if you are GST exempt and want to your organization to receive $10.00 for a food item, price it as $11.88If you pay GST use the multiplier 1.247085. Since EHFA does not collect GST as a separate line item, your GST must be covered by your sales price. So, if you are NOT GST exempt and want to your organization to receive $10.00 for a food item, price it as $12.47.How to price your CULTURAL and SOUVENIR itemsFor Cultural and souvenir items, Heritage Festival charges 5.8%.If you are GST exempt, use the multiplier 1.062. ($10.00 * 1.062=$10.62)If you pay GST use the multiplier 1.115. ($10.00 * 1.15=$11.15)
