The Covington Garden Faire & Market Application at Lily & Sparrow

Welcome to the 2nd annual, Covington Garden Faire  & Market  hosted at Lily & Sparrow Mercantile in beautiful downtown Covington, GA. This Spring event is meant to inspire guests to  ready their homes and gardens for the Spring & Summer months.  While offering fun for all ages.  Among an amazing market full of creative offerings + garden inspired ideas we plan have face paint, a fairies and gnomes costume contest for kids and live entertainment.

Vendors:

We are on the lookout for artisans and makers that offer handmade local products that celebrate the theme.  Wind Chimes, Garden Decor, Seeds & Seedlings, Local Produce, Specialty Foods, Teas, Candles, Soaps, Flowers, Jewelry, Home Decor, Plants, etc. Think..., all things Springtime.   NEW* this year we will offer special pricing for kidpreneurs ages 8-17 years old (must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older)

Things to Note:

+There is an early bird price, so register today.  

+Application deadline is Friday April 5, 2025 at 11:59pm

+There is limited space per category to ensure exclusivity for vendors (candles, foods, soaps, jewelry, etc.) 

+Vendors are approved on a case by case basis.  Participation in prior events DOES NOT guarantee automatic acceptance.

Our events are advertised by City of Covington, The Newton & Rockdale Counties  Chamber of Commerce, local billboard on I-20, signage, and social media

PLEASE READ ALL TERMS & CONDITIONS BEFORE APPLYING:

This is a family friendly event, all presentations must be tasteful and positive. Any vendor who is found to bring or display items that are not child friendly will be asked to leave. This includes products that promote drugs, violence, sexuality explict images or language, and/or the occult/witchcraft/gore or any other inappropriate items as deemed by the event organizers.

+This event is outdoor, rain, cold, or shine. We encourage All participants wear weather appropriate clothing.

+Your vendor fee is for the space only at this time. Please provide all tables, displays, and seating you may need

+ Vendor fees are non refundable, if a vendor is unable to attend due to sickness within 24 hours of the event a credit may be issued on a case by case basis.

+ALL vendors are REQUIRED to have a fire extinguisher and weights at their tent for day of participation. (This is a local fire ordinance and may be actively be enforced by the fire dept. at the event)

+If the event is cancelled in whole or in part due to a Force Majeure Event, you will not be entitled to a refund. If the event is rescheduled, you will automatically be approved for the future date/time.

+Any vendor who applies must provide valid payment information. If payment is declined after 2 attempts the organizers reserve the right to deny the vendor participation in this and future events.

+Prohibited items: These are items that may be used in a dangerous or threatening manner including but not limited to, firearms, knives or weapons of any description (and any other sharp items), glass bottles (please decant into other containers), illegal drugs, fireworks or explosives.

+To ensure the safety of all festival attendees, access to the event sites will be refused to, but not limited to, people who:

-are under the influence of illegal drugs or any other illegal substances

-are clearly suffering from alcohol or other substance intoxication -have been previously banned from festivals and/or other events by the organizer, the administration or legal authorities

-are demonstrating an intent to disturb the peace or to provoke someone else to do so 

-engage in fighting or any disruptive behavior

-resist the direction of and searches by the Festival’s security

Lily & Sparrow Mercantile LLC (the event host location) and Sparrow Launch Co. (the event organizers) disclaim all responsibility from losses or damages to vendor property during this event. Furthermore both parties mentioned above disclaim all responsibility from losses or damage to any vehicle on or near the festival, including, without limitation, vehicles towed from the festival site.
