Artist Application

In its 10th year, ARTucker (a 501c3 Non-Profit) features local and regional artists working in a variety of materials, media, and price ranges.

• 1500 Attendees in 2024, expecting 2000 in 2025
• We do not supply tables, tents, or weights
• Artists with tents are required to bring weights
• Ground stakes are not permitted

Applications are reviewed with the following considerations:

• Our market has space for 75 vendors. We expect heavy foot traffic.
• We want unique goods (i.e. hand-made or custom-made) and of a high quality.
  We consider a diversity of types of producers 1) to prevent saturation and ensure that vendors have a successful day and 2) so that shoppers have a variety of things to choose from. That means that if we have 10 people apply for the same type of good, such as candles, we can only accept two or so of those applicants.
• We use the ranking from the first qualification (quality/uniqueness), then defer to this secondary variable of making sure we have different types of goods. For this reason, we sometimes have to reject applicants that still look great.
• We always try to make sure that we're accepting at least a good handful of vendors that we haven't had before, to ensure that our market is unique each year, so it's always worth applying again.

Categories: 
Artists may apply in up to 3 categories. You must submit a separate application for each category. If you sell jewelry, you may apply in a category other than Jewelry if jewelry is less than 10% of your items for sale. Otherwise, you must apply in Jewelry.  All work displayed in the booth must be for sale.  

Clay: Original clay and porcelain work, functional or sculptural.
Fiber: Includes wearable and non-wearable. No machine-tooled, machine-screen printing or other forms of mass production are accepted.
Glass: Functional and sculptural work is accepted. Kiln forming, blowing, molding, or casting, as well as all cold working processes, are permitted.
Jewelry: Only those artists accepted in the jewelry category may display or sell jewelry. Items made from commercial parts may not be exhibited.
Metal: Sculptural or decorative work made from metal.
Mixed Media: Work that combines materials from two or more mediums in one piece.
Natural Materials: This includes basket weaving, chair caning, brooms, gourds, and other works made from materials found in nature.
Photography: Includes traditional film photography, hand-colored images, emulsion transfers, and digital photography. Only the artist’s source material is acceptable. 
Printmaking: Only hand-pulled original prints are allowed. Prints must be in limited editions, signed, and numbered.
Sculpture: Three-dimensional work using additive or subtractive processes in a single medium.
Two-Dimensional: Drawing, sketching, painting.
Wood: Original works that are hand-tooled, machine-worked, turned or carved.
Other: We’re interested in other work that falls outside these traditional categories. This would include candles, soap, food products, health and beauty items, etc.

Rain or Shine - no refunds

$25 non-refundable application fee (3% processing fee paid for by ARTucker). 

Once accepted, there is a $75 booth fee (3% processing fee paid for by ARTucker) for participation. 

Vendors must adhere to load-in/load-out instructions

About the Application:
Please complete all required fields and submit by the end of the day on March 22, 2025 to be considered for the April 19, 2025 show.

Only artists 18 years and older will be accepted.

All Artist/crafter information including photographs will be reviewed by a volunteer jury of local artists.  Notifications will be sent by March 29th, 2025.  

By submitting this application and jury fee, I agree that if I am accepted to the show the booth fee will be automatically charged to me on April 12th, 2025.  

If I am accepted and do not wish to participate, I will notify the organizer by email by April 5th, 2025 to avoid the booth fee charge.  

Booths are all 10x10' and can be used by an individual artist or a pair of artists.

The show is outside, rain or shine.

The space will be located on a flat grassy field. Tents, tables nor weights are provided by ARTucker, only the 10x10' space. 

For the shared booth, each artist must use a separate application. ***Only one of the pair should select the shared booth option. **** In this way, only one of the artists pair will be charged for a shared tent. Please provide the name of the artist partner on your application.  

I understand and will abide by the ARTucker exhibition rules as outlined on the website. I confirm that ARTucker, the Tucker Rec department, the City of Tucker, and all parties associated with these organizations cannot be held liable for loss or damage to merchandise or for injury to anyone participating in the show.
