FOOD TRUCK HOPEFULS:
-- Completing this form does NOT guarantee participation. This is an application, not a registration form.
-- Space registration fees start at $12, depending upon your space and display needs.
-- Spaces are limited. We expect to reach maximum food truck capacity each month. We will facilitate a waiting list in case a opportunities arise to make changes (if a food truck unexpectedly drops out due to illness or emergency).
-- Accepted applicants are based on a variety of factors including but not limited to the quality and variety of goods as well the ability to tastefully display food/beverages.
-- Early bird applications must be received by February 17, 2025. Early bird applicants will be notified of acceptance prior to or on February 18, 2025. Applications received after February 17 will be responded to as they are received. If your food truck is accepted, you will be charged for your space.
FOOD TRUCK SPACES:
Food trucks are responsible for bringing their own supplies and source of power. The Garden DOES have electricity available for rent. Advance requests are required and quantities are limited.

Cancellation Policy:
Food truck-Initiated Cancellations
Notice Period: Food trucks must provide written notice of cancellation at least 30 days before the event date to qualify for a partial refund.
Refund Policy:
Full Refund: Provided if the cancellation is made 60+ days prior to the event.
Partial Refund: A 50% refund will be granted for cancellations made 31-59 days before the event.
No Refund: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made 30 days or less before the event.
Organizer-Initiated Cancellations
Event Cancellation: If the event is canceled by The Garden due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, public safety concerns), Food trucks will receive:
50% refund of their space fee or the option to apply the payment toward a future market registration at The Garden (or space upgrades at a future market).
Individual Food Truck Removal: If a food truck violates terms and conditions (e.g., failing to adhere to product guidelines or setup rules), no refund will be issued.
Force Majeure Clause
Neither the organizers nor the food trucks will be held liable for cancellations due to events beyond their control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government-imposed restrictions. Refunds in such cases will be at the discretion of the organizers.
Transfer of Space
Food trucks may request to transfer their space to another food truck, subject to approval by The Garden. A transfer fee may apply.
Refund Processing Timeline
All refunds will be processed within 30 business days of the cancellation request being approved.
FOOD TRUCK ELIGIBILITY:
To operate a food truck at our public event, you’ll need to show proof of several permits and comply with specific regulations to ensure public health and safety.
Here’s a comprehensive list of the required documentation which may or may not apply to your food truck:
1. Business Registration with the Indiana Secretary of State (e.g., sole proprietorship, LLC, corporation).
2. Employer Identification Number (EIN)
3. City of Fort Wayne Business License for legal operation within city limits
4. Mobile Food Vendor Permit from the City of Fort Wayne to ensure compliance with local mobile vending regulations
5. Health Department Permit from the Allen County Department of Health, which includes completing the “Annual Mobile Food Unit Packet” available on their website. Also, a passed a health inspection to verify adherence to food safety standards.
6. Successful Inspection by the Fort Wayne Fire Department
7. Commissary Agreement with a licensed commissary kitchen for food storage, preparation, and waste disposal, as required by local health regulations.
8. Sales Tax Permit from the Indiana Department of Revenue to obtain a Registered Retail Merchant Certificate
9. Food Handler Certification
