About the event

The City of Southport, in collaboration with Up Your Arts, Cape Fear Radio, and Downtown Southport, Inc., is thrilled to announce the return of the Southport Concert Series for the 2025 season! This year’s series promises an exceptional lineup of musical performances, fostering community connections in the heart of Southport. The 2025 series will take place Thursday evenings from 6 PM to 8 PM in Franklin Square Park. After feedback from attendees, the series has returned to its traditional Thursday evening schedule, providing the perfect way to unwind and enjoy live music in a picturesque setting. Concerts are free and open to the public, welcoming attendees of all ages. Guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, chairs, and their best dancing shoes to make the most of these lively events. Food trucks will be available to enhance your concert experience, but offerings are subject to change—check back regularly for updates! We look forward to seeing you there!

This fee serves two important purposes: Preventing Spam Applications A small fee helps deter non-serious applicants and ensures that the submissions we receive are from vendors genuinely interested in participating in our event. This allows our team to focus on reviewing committed vendors, enhancing the overall experience for everyone involved. Encouraging Vendor Commitment By requiring a nominal investment, vendors demonstrate their genuine intent to participate, fostering a more reliable and enthusiastic group of participants. Where Does the Fee Go? All proceeds from the application fees will be directly reinvested into the event to support its success, creating a more enjoyable experience for vendors and attendees.
