This is your opportunity to explore the theme and present your interpretation in a powerful and personal way. What do you feel needs to be said loud and proud? Whether you address important issues, express meaningful ideas, or share thought-provoking messages, we welcome all art mediums to amplify your voice.

How many pieces of art can I submit?
Two (2)

 When does my art have to be submitted? Wednesday, April 16th

Where should I send/mail my art? All non-perishable creative artwork should be delivered ( via mail, FedEx, UPS, or in person)

I am a baker / pastry chef how does this work for me?

PASTRY Bakers please bring your masterwork the day of the event to TBD Location at 1:30pm no later than 3:00pm please.

I am a fashion designer how does this work for me?
We recommend creating a prototype. Once sold you will connect with the buyer for the correct sizing and fitting. 

 Does my Art work have to match the theme? No, it does not. This is just an option for anyone who may need inspiration.

What percentage of the final sell do I get?
The Art Gala is a fundraiser for the annual Sista Soul Fest in September of every year. Therefore, 35% of the final sell is returned to the creative artist. 

Can I bring a plus one?
You are encouraged to invite all of your friends and family members. However, everyone will need to purchase a ticket at www.sistasoulfest.com
 
How long will it take to get my payment?
All payouts will be disbursed no later than (14) business days from the day of the event
 
Will I get my art submission back if it does not sell?
Although we do not anticipate having to return your art submission, it will be returned to you. We will notify you within (3) business days if you do not attend the Art Gala/Auction.  You will need to make arrangements for pick up or shipping.
 
Is this a child-friendly event?
Yes, however, they will need a ticket as well. We suggest ages 13 and up. Please keep in mind that this is for a mature crowd. There will be alcohol being served on premises. the
