Please read all of the information below before beginning your application. As a vendor, you are responsible for understanding all of our terms and conditions, and by submitting your application, you agree to all Fayetteville Dogwood Festival Terms and Conditions.- A $25.00 non-refundable application fee is required.
- Applications do not guarantee acceptance into the festival.
- No applications will be accepted by mail or email.
- Applicants are selected by a vendor committee by vendor application only.
- Incomplete Applications will not be considered. Please make sure to complete the application to the fullest potential.
- Applications that do not include photos will not be considered.
- After the application closes, applicants will not be able to adjust their application
- Vendors are required to provide an NC Department of Revenue Sales & Use Tax ID Number.
By moving forward with this registration, the registrant understands the Fayetteville Dogwood Festival's refund policy includes the following:
- Refunds will only be issued if the event is canceled.
Fayetteville Dogwood Festival follows a rain or shine policy. If the registrant decides not to attend due to weather conditions, the registrant forfeit's the monies paid towards the event. Fayetteville Dogwood Festival reserves the right to issue refunds on a circumstance basis. No registrant will receive a refund without proper discussion with the event organizer.By completing this application, you agree to the following terms:You will arrive on time for your check-in. Tardiness will risk losing your space. Parking will be available for supply trucks and trailers. These cannot be moved during the weekend. Vehicles that need to be accessed during the weekend must find parking downtown. Overnight security is provided for your area.
- Your supplies and equipment will remain within the space that is supplied for the festival. Failure to do so may result in ejection from the festival without refund. Please be prepared to serve customers only from the front of your booth or trailer.
- All vendors who do not cook in an enclosed truck/trailer must cover the entire ground area of your location with mats, tarps or other coverings. Extend the covering well beyond your footprint. This includes the serving area and under grills. There will be no exceptions. Storm water inspectors will pre-inspect all areas prior to load-in. They will be on site Friday during load-in and on Saturday and Sunday. Any vendor with grease on the hard surface or grass will be issued a Notice of Violation by an inspector. The issue must be corrected the same day. If it is not, a citation will be issued by the inspector to the vendor. All oil must be in containers and removed from the area at the end of the festival.
- You must bring a minimum of 25 feet of potable water hose and a splitter unless otherwise noted in our letter.
- You must bring a UL listed 100 foot, 12 amp, 3 prong grounded outdoor rated extension cord for use with regular duplex receptacles. If you use a 50 amp connection, you must have a minimum of 50 feet, 50 amp rated cable with a 4 prong range plug. Distances to electrical hookups can be 100 feet. No generators are allowed.
- You must display professionally produced signs showing ALL of the items you are selling and the price of each item. These signs must be in full view of patrons and readable from a distance of at least 15 feet. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO OPEN WITHOUT A POSTED PRICE LIST. The price list must remain posted throughout the festival. You may only sell those items you indicated on your application and were approved. No signage over 12 ft off the ground is allowed.
- You must sell Pepsi products. DWF is proudly sponsored by Pepsi. Any vendor who wishes to sell soft drinks or water can purchase products from the festival. Ice will also be available for purchase. Products cannot be sold less than $2.
- You must complete all documentation for the Cumberland County Health Department and be prepared for the inspection. No sales may occur before inspection. Vendors are responsible for 1% sales tax for food prepared on site.
- You must have a fire extinguisher within your footprint with a minimum rating of 20-A:10-B:C. You may not begin cooking without an approved extinguisher in your booth.
- You acknowledge that food vendor operation hours.
- - You acknowledge vendors may not leave during the weekend without the approval of the Vendor Chair or the chairperson’s stand-in.
Grease and oil spill is a hazardous danger to the public and can contaminate storm drains. Grease entering the storm drain will eventually enter rivers, lakes, and oceans, threatening wildlife. When or if a spill is present, it's vital to take action by cleaning it up before it spreads immediately.There is a $1500 Environmental Contamination Refundable Deposit. If your site is contaminated with grease and oil spills, we will use the deposit to cover the cost of cleaning.If there are any further questions regarding this event, please email vendor@thedogwoodfestival.com.
