DEADLINE: The entry deadline is Saturday, November 9, 2024, 4:00 pm. All entry forms, sponsor tickets and fees must be in by this date. No Exceptions, no entries at the door. Judges will be well qualified in the pageant field, and scoresheets and comments will be given out after the pageant. These are to help you with future pageants. Ages 4 and under are judged on personality projection, ages 5 and up are judged on modeling. All contestants are judged on beauty and overall appearance. No glitz modeling.
ATTIRE: Contestants may wear long or short dresses, pageant, or Sunday-type dresses. We suggest if you have a pageant dress to wear that. Makeup is acceptable, children 2 and under no makeup, please.
All divisions crowned are required to join us on Nov. 23rd at 6 pm for the Calera Tree lighting and photo opportunity. All divisions crowned are required to ride in the Calera Christmas Parade on December 7th.
ADMISSION: Please invite your family and friends to come out and cheer you on.
$5.00 - children under 3 free
BEAUTY: There will be a winner in each division. They will receive a sash, crown, and gift cards to local merchants.
SPECIAL AWARDS: Most Photogenic, Most Beautiful, Best Fashion, Prettiest Hair and Best Smile will receive a medallion.
OVERALL WINNERS: There will be three overall winners. One for ages 0-3, 4-7 and 8 and up who will receive a dress from the Touch of Grace Pageant and Prom, a specially designed crown. Also, they will receive a cash scholarship starting at $200 increasing by $50 per age division. Overall winner will not win their age division and will not be named an alternate in their age division.
SPONSOR TICKETS: You may sell sponsor tickets to help pay your entry fees. Tickets are $1.00 and go into a drawing for prizes! You can also win prizes by selling tickets. Sell 100 tickets over your entry fee and win a special sash. Sell 150 tickets over your entry fee and win a medallion and a sash. Sell the most tickets over your entry fee and win a beautiful crown, and the overall ambassador title! If you need more ticket’s, please contact the director at events@downtowncalera.org
PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD: There will be three winners. One from 0-3, 4-7 and one 8 and up winner will receive a crown and sash. This is $1.00 a vote and may be turned in the day of the pageant. All the proceeds from this award will be donated to Calera Main Street. The winner is the contestant that has the most votes! Money for this event is turned in at the pageant.
CHARITY AWARD: Donations for the Grace Kline Food Bank- Please bring non-perishable items. No expired or dented cans. Each item will count 1 point each. Examples of items to donate. Any canned food, meat, beans, vegetables, soups, fruit. Pasta, rice, peanut butter, breakfast items, cereal, granola bars, juice….and much more.
