One Music Fest: Black Art Pop Application

Black Girl Art Show x Black Boy Art Show are excited to present THE BLACK ART POPUP at One Music Fest on October 26th & 27th, 2024! This is your opportunity to showcase your art to 30,000 festival attendees per day in a group exhibition under a secured 40x40 tent, where all artists will be set up. There’s no need to bring your own tent—just your art and displays! This exhibition will celebrate Black culture through colorful expressions that reflect the vibrancy and boldness of our community.

We’re looking for 22 talented Black artists to fill 6x6 spaces with art that aligns with the themes of unity, heritage, and boldness represented by One Music Fest.This is a high-exposure event offering artists the chance to not only sell their art but also immerse themselves in one of the most vibrant music and cultural festivals in the Southeast.

Event Details:

• Location: Central Park | 396 Piedmont Avenue

• Vendor Fee: $850

• Space: 6x6 space for each artist

• Choose One Day:

• Saturday, October 26th, 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Sunday, October 27th, 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Load-in: 9:30 AM on your chosen day

• Perks:

• 2 festival passes (so you can enjoy the event too!)

Application Requirements:

• Portfolio: Submit up to 5 images of your work

• Preferred Day: Select either Saturday, October 26th or Sunday, October 27th

• Painting (Acrylic, Oil, Watercolor,)                                        

• Mixed Media (Collage, drawings, found objects, textiles, paper, metal, wood, and digital elements to create visually dynamic and textured artworks.

• Authors

• Crafts can consist of:                                                      

• Handmade jewelry (e.g., necklaces, bracelets, earrings)

• Ceramics and pottery                                                  

• Woodworking and woodcraft                                                

• Hand-sewn textiles (e.g., quilts, clothing, accessories)            

• Paper crafts (e.g., origami, handmade cards, paper sculpture)

• Candle making                                                                        

• Soap making and other bath and body self care products    

• Glass art and glassware                                              

• Metalworking and metal crafts                                  

• Leatherwork and leather crafts 

Not Allowed:

• Exhibitors under the age of 21, even if you're 20 this isn't allowed.

• Art theft of any kind or using other artists' works on their products such as mugs, blankets, or art prints.

• Vendors selling items not specified in the allowed list (e.g., food, Beverages, electronics, bundles, lashes etc).

• Yoga teachers, Individuals giving speeches or presentations). 

• Tarot or readings if that's the sole offering with no other products or services provided

• Mentors/Therapists who aren't offering any physical products in addition to their services

• Anything that violates the event's guidelines or policies regarding content, safety, or legality.

Review: Our team will conduct a thorough review of your work and consider you for the exhibit within 24 hours.If selected and approved, your registration fee will be charged. 

Setup: All exhibitors are provided with a 6ft x 6ft floor space under our 40 x 40 exhibition tent and will be required to bring their own grid panel displays, easels, tables, etc for presentation. Exhibitors are required to be on site the entire duration of the festival day.

Sales: Exhibitors keep 100% of their sales.

REFUNDS /CANCELLATION/VENDOR CREDIT: 
 
Black Girl Art Show LLC, Sol Fusion, Inc., Live Nation Urban, and Rival Entertainment DOES NOT offer refunds for any reason. No refunds in case of inclement weather, acts of nature, or restrictions by governmental agencies to cancel the event, over which the mentioned parties above has no control. Vendor credit towards a future event will be assessed on an individual basis and dependent on special circumstances but NOT guaranteed as withdrawals/cancellations affect the whole market. Any withdrawal/cancellation requests must be requested 2 weeks in advance of the event to be considered for vendor credit. 
 
ASSUMPTION OF RISK:
 
I agree to indemnify and hold Black Girl Art Show, their officials, staff, and agents harmless of and from any and all actions, causes of actions of every kind in law or equity, suits, debts, liens, contracts, agreements, promises, claims, liabilities, demands, damages, obligations, loss, costs, and expense of any nature whatsoever, known or unknown, fixed or contingent, including, with limitation, attorney’s fees and court costs through and including any appeals, taxable or otherwise, incurred, either directly or indirectly, as a result of my participation in the Black Art Popup, including but not limited to, any claims which might be made by myself, my co-workers, my agents, my employees, and/or any member of the general public.
 
I acknowledge that I am responsible for the security of my own property and expressly assume all risk of loss and/or damage to property arising either directly or indirectly from my participation in the Black Girl Art Show. I understand and agree that Black Girl Art Show is in no way responsible for my property or its safekeeping.
