This application is not for a tree in Stowe Park. This application is for Downtown Belmont businesses within the Main Street Districts who wish to decorate a tree in their business location to be included in the the 7th Annual Festival of Trees.

About the event

This December, enjoy a stroll through Stowe Park to enjoy a display of festive trees decorated by local organizations. This event is free and dog friendly.

Information & ExpectationsFirst place bragging rights will be awarded for each of the following categories:

Non-Profit Organizations
School
Downtown Merchant
For-Profit Organizations

Trees will be judged on theme, uniqueness, creativity, and overall presentation. An event map will be published online and on the Belmont GO app, directing visitors to your tree.

Important Dates

Application opens - October 17, 2024
Application deadline - 12:00 PM, November 26, 2024
Tree decoration deadline - Monday, December 2nd (all trees decorated by 5:00 PM)
Tree lighting ceremony (at City Hall) - 6:00 PM, Monday, December 2nd

Rules and Criteria

This application is not for a tree in Stowe Park
The tree must be located in your downtown business storefront/window
Tree themes must be family-friendly
The City of Belmont will provide a sign for each tree, including the organization/business name, theme, and logo.
The organization must provide a tree theme and logo for this application.
