About the application

Welcome to the October Alpharetta Art in the Park artist market. This application is for one outdoor 6 foot table space in Brooke Street park in Alpharetta, Georgia in the arts and crafts section of the October Art in the Park artist market.

This space is only large enough to accomidate a 6 foot table and your chair with a small amount of storage behind the space. This is not an application for a standard 10 x 10 vendor space for tent canaopies.

This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the table space option you are agreeing to terms and conditions of the application.

This application is offering a smaller space than our typical 10 by 10 foot tent spaces but at a lower price point so that artists who may not be familiar with our artist markets still be able to participate in the event. We are accepting applications in fine art and fine craft. No jewelry or candles will be accepted with this application. Clay: Original clay and porcelain work, functional or sculptural. Fiber: Includes wearable and non-wearable. No machine-tooled, machine-screen printing, or other forms of mass production are accepted. Glass: Functional and sculptural work is accepted. Kiln forming, blowing, molding, or casting, as well as all cold working processes are permitted.

Metal: Sculptural or decorative work made from metal. Mixed Media: Work which combines materials from two or more mediums in one piece. Musical Instruments: Handmade instruments. Natural Materials: This includes basket weaving, chair caning, brooms, gourds, and other works made from materials found in nature. Photography: Includes traditional film photography, hand-colored images, emulsion transfers, and digital photography. Only artist’s original source material is acceptable. Printmaking: Only hand-pulled original prints are allowed. Prints must be in limited editions, signed, and numbered. Sculpture: Three-dimensional work using additive or subtractive processes in a single medium. Two-Dimensional: Drawing, painting, and digital works. Reproduction prints are not allowed. Wood: Original works that are hand tooled, machine-worked, turned or carved.

About the event

This event application is for one outdoor 6 foot table space in Brooke Street Park for our October Artist Market for Alpharetta Art in the Park. We provide the space you bring everything to display your work including a table. Spaces are approximately 8 ft wide by 4 ft deep at a minimum, most are larger than that. Most spaces have some room behind the table for storage, however a few of the prime table spaces in the highest traffic areas have minimal extra space beyond accommodating a 6 ft table and chair.

This is for a table spaces in the Arts and crafts section of Art in the Park for October. You will be a long the pedestrian path set up in the mulch area that can be pine straw or bark or grass and may be unlevel so bring some blocks of wood and an umbrella if you would like. There may not be extra space for storage, but that is rare.

I, the undersigned , hearby release and forever discharge MICHAEL HIPPS, Alpharetta Art in the Park, The City of Alpharetta and their repective officials, officers, directors, employees, sponsors, associates, representatives, successors or assigns, severally and Jointly, of and from any and all liability, claims, actions, and possible causes of actions which may acrue to any said parties from every and any loss, damage and injury that may be sustained while participating in Alpharetta Art in the Park. 2.) A signed application constitutes a contract to follow all rules and regulations. 3.) Failure to follow rules and procedures may result in forfeiture of booth fees and not allowed to participate in future events.
How much do you expect to make in sales at the end of the event?
You will be hand carting in your supplies and table from the unloading zone which could potentially be up to 100 yards away.
I acknowledge that Alpharetta Art in the Park is not a festival but an artist market so the crowds are smaller and the sales are lower than large festivals.
I acknowledge that Alpharetta Art in the Park is a rain or shine event and that I will be exhibiting wothout the protection of a tent and that there are no refunds, no rain make up days. Once you are accepted you cannot get a refund.
I acknowledge that my table space may be in a sunny location and that the ground may be unlevel and that there may be natural elements or park structures that I will have to work around. There may be no extra space for storage beyond my designated space.

Please include one photo of a table display from one of your other events that is a good representation of how you would be setting up your table and displaying your work. This is the photo that determines if you will be accepted or not so make it a good one! Include three more photos of some of your work that you plan on exhibiting at Art in the Park. You may only exhibit the work that you include in these photos.
