About the application

Spend ONE (1) day, October 19th with us and market your artwork to our Charlotte Chalk Art Festival (CCAF) goers. We DO NOT guarantee sales or customer buying potential.
Help us beautify the NoDa Brewing North End Pavilion with your Art. We strive to keep duplication of artwork mediums to a minimum. Priority goes to artists in the Charlotte, North Carolina area; think 45 minutes to an hour's drive. We have EIGHT (8) SPACES AVAILABLE. October 19th is the ONLY day we are providing this opportunity. If you'd like to be with us both days, please use our ARTISAN/EXHIBITORS APPLICATION where you will have access to one of our 10x10 tents on October 19th and 20th. All tents and items must be removed from the venue space by 6 pm on October 19th. You will load into the same 10x10 tent space on October 20th. You are REQUIRED to be onsite at 11:00 am for set up. All cars must be removed from the main festival space by 11:30 am. You provide your 3' or 6' table and chair(s).

We are accepting applications from artists who use various mediums: pencil, ink, charcoal, oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, litho, bronze, marble, or wood sculptures, digital and/or film photography, and recyclables. CCAF2024 will take place at NoDa Brewing Company North End, 150 W 32nd St, Charlotte, NC 28206. CCAF2024 is produced and sponsored by Creative Canvas Productions, LLC, Jerry's Artarama, NoDa Brewing Company, Eventful Expressions NPC, Arts Plus, and Aristos Sound Charlotte.

About the event

The Charlotte Chalk Art Festival (CCAF2024), a FREE, family-friendly two-day festival, will be held at NoDa Brewing Company North End, 150 W 32nd St, Charlotte, NC 28206 on October 19th and 20th from 12pm to 5pm each day. CCAF features a street chalk art competition for ages 12-17 and 18+. Festival goers will watch and cheer on the competitors and the artists creating the street chalk art gallery while enjoying various art-focused activities, music, and performance offerings, patronizing our curated arts, crafts, retail, food, and beverage vendors.

The Charlotte Chalk Art Festival committee reserves the right to deny any application for any reason. If accepted, you will be REQUIRED to sign a Vendor Liability Form. CCAF2024 is a two-day RAIN OR SHINE EVENT EXCEPT FOR SEVERE WEATHER – NO REFUNDS ONCE ACCEPTED. CCAF2024 committee reserves the right to CLOSE the festival on either day due to extreme weather or public safety concerns, without refund to vendor. We reserve the right to POSTPONE the festival prior to October 19th should there be an in advance warning of extreme weather, without refund to vendor. Should there be a POSTPONEMENT, the festival will be moved to a TBD date and all approved vendors will retain their space, without refund to vendor.
