Arts on the Green - Rules & Regulations
ARTIST STATEMENT OF RESIDENCY* THIS ART FAIR IS FOR LOCAL & REGIONAL ARTISTS* ONLY.
The artists holding a booth must be present. No stand-in exhibitors or sales representatives.
Policy: Applicants must live in Wyoming or in a state bordering Wyoming to qualify for this show. Acceptable states are Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Nebraska, & South Dakota.
Criteria: People who reside in two places, or those who commute part of the week, are considered residents of the place where they spend the most time. The State of Wyoming adds the concept of domicile to further clarify who is considered a legal resident of the State. A domicile refers to that place where a person has a true, fixed, and permanent home to which, whenever absent, the person has the intention of returning. A person may have more than one residence, but only one domicile. To be considered a legal resident of Wyoming, a person must have domiciled within Wyoming for a period of not less than one year and not claimed residency elsewhere for any purpose during the one year period.
Original: Artwork must be original, designed and produced by, or under the direct supervision, of the exhibiting artist. No mass-produced or buy-sell artwork or products. Only artwork that is representative of the photographs submitted may be displayed.
Representation: Artists whose work is sold in a local gallery or business must notify the business owner/manager that they are exhibiting in Arts on the Green.
Booths: All booths available on a first come, first served basis.
Single booths 10' x 10' are $175.
Corner booths 10' x 10' are $225
If you are accepted into the show you will be sent an email allowing you to select a booth.
Booths must be open for business Sunday, September 7 from 10 am - 5:30 pm. Teardown cannot begin until after 5:30 pm.
Exhibitors must furnish their own tents and displays. Booth spaces are 10 feet x 10 feet. White tents preferred. You must use WEIGHTS to secure your booth. Please plan for 40 pounds per tent leg. No “price reduced” or “Sale” signs allowed in the booths. Exhibitors display all works at their own risk. The Art Association is not responsible for damage, theft or loss of an exhibitor‘s property or personal injury resulting from participation in Arts on the Green.
Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up their own space after the fair. All sales will be made directly through exhibiting artists. No wifi or sales platform services are provided by the Art Association. Exhibitors will be responsible for collection of 6% sales tax on all sales. The State of Wyoming will provide tax forms to be completed and returned within 30 days of the event for those who do not file regularly. Those with a WY tax ID can file regularly. The application fee is non-refundable. The last day to request a refund for a booth fee payment is August 26. Refunds requested after this date may be made at the discretion of Art Association staff and are in no way guaranteed. Refunds may be subject to a 10% administrative fee.
Exhibitor Conduct. At all times during the event, the exhibitor shall conduct him/herself in a professional and appropriate manner and shall comply with all applicable laws, as well as all applicable policies and rules of Art Association and the event venue, including without limitation A!A’s antitrust policy, anti-discrimination and harassment policies, and A!A’s Code of Conduct for Event Participants (see Section 9). Registrant shall refrain from any action that will cause disruption to the event or interfere with event attendee participation in the event. At all times during the event, Exhibitor shall abide by any health or safety protocols that A!A may institute for such event. Event badges provided by A!A shall be visible at all times on Event grounds during the Event. A!A reserves the right to remove Exhibitor from the event venue and ban the Exhibitor from future A!A events if A!A determines in its sole discretion that Exhibitor’s conduct is in violation of these Terms, Conditions and Rules. The Art Association reserves the right to terminate this agreement, close the exhibit, remove the Exhibitor's property from the exhibit space, and/or remove Exhibitor from the event venue, ban the Exhibitor from future events.
