Holiday Gallery Shop Application

This year's theme, Celebrating Home, revolves around the nostalgia of mid-century modern aesthetics, in combination with Tallahassee's bicentennial anniversary. We aim to celebrate the sentimentality of LeMoyne's and Tallahassee's legacies.

LeMoyne Arts is seeking artists and fine crafters to fill our gallery shop with the original, giftable pieces that our community has come to know and love. This year for LeMoyne’s Holiday Show, the Gallery Shop will be extended into two additional gallery spaces, the Albrecht gallery and the Hoover gallery. Building off previous years’ success in sales, we wanted to provide the opportunity for our artists to have extra space for displaying gifts and goodies.

 

LeMoyne’s Consignment AgreementOur system is based off a 60/40 split. The artist will receive 60% of the sale, while LeMoyne will receive 40% of the sale. Please keep in mind that LeMoyne is providing the venue, marketing, staffing, labor to set up and take down the show, paying merchant fees, accounting for sales and payments, providing packaging, and staffing for extended hours.  LeMoyne staff and volunteers will do their best to care for your artwork; however, in case of an accident, artists agree to hold LeMoyne Arts harmless in the event of loss or breakage. For those of you who have participated in the Holiday Show in past years, the system will be quite similar. For those of who you are new to the Holiday Show, welcome and please read this application carefully as the process can be tedious, but it is necessary to ensure a smooth execution of this major event at LeMoyne Arts. ALL PARTICIPATING ARTISTS MUST BE MEMBERS (if you are unsure of your membership status call us at (850) 222-8800, or become a member here: https://www.lemoyne.org/membership.html).

The Members Exhibition: LeMoyne Arts is seeking artists and fine crafters to fill our gallery with the original artworks that our community has come to know and love. Join us in transforming the LeMoyne Arts Gallery into a homey holiday wonderland, visited by families and art lovers of all ages. 2. Garden Galleria: We're hosting a Pop-Up Garden Galleria event in our renovated gardens during our Opening Day on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, from 10am – 3pm, with 27 booth spaces available. Description of the Process: 1. Fill out the Eventeny Application for review of items.   2. Complete an inventory list.      - These files can be found in this application under "Document templates, files".      - Includes contact info. (name, email, & phone #), item names, prices, and quantities, and a short visual description.      - All inventory lists must be completed electronically. The lists should be sent to holidays@lemoyne.org in an editable document (.doc, .docx, or .pdf) by October 21st. Any inventory list submitted handwritten, printed, scanned, or un-editable will incur a $25 transcription fee.   3. LeMoyne will print barcodes to be picked up and placed on your items.      - Once an inventory list has been entered into our point-of-sales (POS) system, you will receive an email informing you that your barcodes are ready for pick-up. We ask that artists barcode and label their own pieces to ensure products are being properly labeled and priced.      - Barcodes will be available for pick up starting the week of November 4th.      - Barcodes will be 0.9 x 0.9 inches and fit best on 1-inch tags (please refrain from using colorful tags, stick to neutrals).      - Artists can attach a business card to the back/ bottom of their pieces separate from the barcode, if interested.   4. Once ALL your items have barcodes and labels, they can be dropped off during the week of November 11-15 between the hours of 11am-6pm.      - Please safely package your work for drop-off and clearly mark your name, please note any special care instructions during drop-off.      - LeMoyne reserves the right to reject items upon in-person review.           - Items that do not reflect the type of items and/or quality of their digital application are subject to rejection.           - All artworks must be dry and have durable construction/ hanging features (if applicable). Artwork deemed unready will not be accepted.   All artists must submit a W-9 to ensure they are paid out for their sales (you can request an ACH form as well for direct deposits).   Unsold Work for Pickup - Tuesday, January 7, 2025 - Saturday, January 11, 2025, between 11:00am - 6:00pm      - LeMoyne Arts will not be responsible for items not picked up by Saturday, January 11, unless special arrangements have been made ahead of time.
