VENDOR FEES: All vendors must pay the assigned fee in advance for your space to be confirmed. No vendors will be granted access to the event grounds or pre-event communications without a paid invoice on file. SPACE IS ONLY CONFIRMED ONCE PAYMENT IS RECEIVED. Vendors with unpaid invoices will not be granted entrance to the event grounds.
BOOTH SPACE: Unless extra space has been requested, Vendors have a 10x20 space for activation. Each Vendor will provide their tent, tables, and chairs. Water and electricity is not provided. We can provide electricity to your booth (food vendors only) for a fee of $60.
EVENT DURATION: All vendors are required to remain set up and in place for the duration of the event to provide a consistent high-quality experience for our patrons. Vendors may NOT depart the event before the conclusion of the show each night without permission from management staff.
ELECTRICITY AND WATER: Unless specifically noted in pre-event communications, electricity and water will NOT be available for vendors. Generators will not be permitted without prior permission from management staff.
TRASH: All vendors are responsible for cleaning their immediate area after the event. All liquid or solid waste must be disposed of properly and may not be left at the venue. A cleaning deposit of $100 will be collected upon application approval and returned only when your space has been checked before leaving on the final day.
WEATHER POLICY AND REFUNDS/TRANSFERS: - This event is rain-or-shine, and refunds/credit transfers will not be issued for vendor cancellation.
SECURITY AND RISK OF LOSS 7 - VENDOR is responsible for all items left on the Festival premises, including, but not limited to, those items left in VENDOR’S location during the hours of operation, each night following the conclusion of the Festival for that day and at the overall conclusion of the Festival. VENDOR shall be solely responsible for its own security at all times. Risk of loss of food items, equipment, cash and any other items belonging to or in the possession of VENDOR is on VENDOR. Neither Lawrence Busker Festival nor Downtown Lawrence, INC shall be responsible for loss or damage to VENDOR’S property or inventory whether attributable to theft, vandalism, spoilage, Act of God, weather or any other cause. VENDOR agrees that Lawrence Busker Festival shall have no security or safety obligations except those set forth and such actions by Lawrence Busker Festival shall in no way relieve VENDOR of VENDOR’S responsibility to protect itself against loss. VENDOR shall fully cooperate with Lawrence Busker Festival in connection with the implementation of any and all safety procedures. VENDOR is responsible for and agrees to reimburse Lawrence Busker Festival for any damage caused by VENDOR to Lawrence Busker Festival or Lawrence Busker Festival representatives’ property including, but not limited to City of Lawrence facilities, utilities and properties.
FINAL ACKNOWLEDGMENTS: I, for myself, my guests, and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release BUSKER FESTIVALS, INC, all affiliated City government agencies, all affiliated sponsors, their representatives, and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver.
By completing this application, I authorize BUSKER FESTIVALS, INC to photograph or take video footage of me and my property in connection with the events selected in this application. I authorize the use of any such photographic and video footage of me for all marketing and advertising purposes including, but not limited to, the following mediums: Web content, print ads, social media marketing, etc. I understand that this application does not constitute confirmation of vendor space and that only payment of a vendor invoice may confirm booth space. Without receipt of payment, no booth space will be provided to me. I authorize BUSKER FESTIVALS, INC to use my information to send me information via email and SMS. The digital signature of this application constitutes a fully enforceable agreement to the terms listed hereof once payment is received. Vendors will be confirmed once payment is received.
