Fresh Peaches Printmaker Show Application

This exhibition will showcase the work of emerging printmakers from the state of Georgia. 

Current college students and recent graduates (2023/24) from the state of Georgia are encouraged to apply. 

All work must be handmade, traditional prints (screenprinting, intaglio, relief, monoprint, lithography, letterpress, risograph…)

No giclee or digital reproduction prints permitted. 

All work must have been completed within the past two years (2022-2024).

About the Jurors:

Greg Stone - Printmaker & Part-Time Professor of Art at Kennesaw State University

Greg Stone is an artist, printmaker, educator and wannabe musician, who operates under the moniker Stone Dairy Press, a reference to the former dairy farm on which his grandfather grew up. Born and raised in the Atlanta area, Greg first caught the printmaking bug in college at University of Georgia. While earning an MFA in Kansas, his love for printmaking evolved into co-founding a printmaking themed band. After several years in New York City and the Hudson Valley working a pot-pourri of jobs in the art industry, from Art Handler to Printer-for-Hire, Studio Assistant to Master Printer, Greg moved back to the Atlanta area where he now teaches part-time at Kennesaw State University and local art centers. When not busy teaching or making things, Greg can be found playing guitar or on walks in the woods with his Printer’s Devil, Kora May.

Jamie Foreman-Owner of Menagerie on Main and Artist

Jamie creator and owner of Menagerie on Main believes that art enhances our lives and inspires us to see beyond what we think is possible. It creates a more vibrant community -- one that helps remind us that we are all creative beings. Inspired by this philosophy as well as her own artistic endeavors, Jamie strives to forge connection and community through the creative. 

Work must be delivered between October 21st-30th. 

Work delivered in person can be dropped off between 12-5 pm Tuesday - Thursday, and 11-6 on Friday and Saturday. 

All work MUST be GALLERY READY upon delivery - meaning WIRE stretched across the back, screwed into the frame with WIRE. NO sawtooth hooks, paper wire attachments. Work not properly display ready will not be hung and declined upon delivery. 

Sculptural pieces must be free-standing or securely fitted with hanging apparatus on the back. Menagerie-on-Main has limited pedestals, sculptural artists are welcome to bring their own pedestals or stands if needed for artworks. 

Due to space only packaging of shipped works can be held, all packing for hand delivered work must be taken with you upon delivery. 

All shipped work must include a pre-paid label for return shipping. 

Menagerie-on-Main is not liable for loss or damages to artwork in shipping. 

Please label each piece with artist's name, title of work, and price on the back.

All sales of work are split between the artist and the gallery (60/40)
