Artist Application

So, you want to show off your amazing art?

Apply for a spot to display and sell your artwork at First Wednesday Art Walk. 

This application requires a nonrefundable $45 fee. You might want to read all the way through the Terms & Conditions before you hit submit.
 
Approved Categories: 

Artists must apply in at least 1 and up to 3 categories. If you sell jewelry, you may apply in a category other than Jewelry if the jewelry is less than 10% of your items for sale. Otherwise, you must apply in Jewelry. All work displayed in the booth must be for sale.

• Clay: Original clay and porcelain work, functional or sculptural.

• Fiber: Includes wearable and non-wearable. No forms of mass production techniques will be accepted. 

• Glass: Functional and sculptural work is accepted. Kiln forming, blowing, molding, or casting, as well as all cold working processes, are permitted.

• Jewelry: Only those artists accepted in the jewelry category may display or sell jewelry. Items made from commercial parts may not be exhibited.

• Metal: Sculptural or decorative work made from metal. No jewelry will be accepted in this category.

• Mixed Media: Work which combines materials from two or more mediums in one piece.

• Musical Instruments: Handmade instruments.

• Natural Materials: This includes basket weaving, chair caning, brooms, gourds, and other works made from materials found in nature.

• Photography: Includes traditional film photography, hand-colored images, emulsion transfers, and digital photography. Only the artist’s original source material is acceptable.

• Printmaking: Only hand-pulled original prints are allowed.

• Sculpture: Three-dimensional work using additive or subtractive processes in a single medium.

• Two-Dimensional: Drawing, painting, and digital works. Artists may sell prints of their original work.

• Wood: Original works that are hand-tooled, machine-worked, turned, or carved.

Items NOT allowed at Art Walk include:

• Kits, imports, and mass-produced items purchased for resale
• Oils, hair & skincare products
• Self-care products such as candles, essential oils, and crystals
• Antiques
• Items created by another artist
• Art containing explicit language, violence, hate speech, graphic nudity, or anything else questionable for small children. This is a family-friendly event.

Submitting an application does not guarantee your acceptance into the event.

Approved categories are used as guidelines to approve artists for the event.

No forms of mass production techniques will be accepted. 

Food vendors, entertainers, businesses and organizations are not to apply as an artist.  

Upon approval, artists will need to RSVP each month for a booth space. Approval does not automatically reserve a spot each month. Details for the event will be emailed once a booth space is reserved. 

The participation fee is $45/month.

Artists are responsible for providing their own setup including: tables, a tent, tent weights, chairs, extension cords, etc.
