PLEASE READ ALL NOTES BELOW CAREFULLY:Make sure to check your junk mail for Eventeny messages. Additional artist communication and updates will frequently be sent through Eventeny. General Info =- Participants must be at least 18 years of age (unless part of a group with an adult supervisor).
- LeMoyne’s Consignment arrangement is a 60/40 split; the artist receives 60% of the sales price & LeMoyne receives 40%.
- Please keep in mind that LeMoyne is providing the venue, marketing, staffing, labor to set up and take down the show, paying merchant fees, accounting for sales and payments, providing packaging and staffing for extended hours.
- Please note that Upper Level LeMoyne Arts Members receive a 10% discount on purchases which is deducted from LeMoyne’s commission.
- In instances where a third party wishes to purchase or commission a similar work from the LeMoyne Arts exhibition after the exhibit has concluded, LeMoyne will act as an intermediary in arranging the transaction for a 20% commission fee. If an artist is in direct contact with the buyer, LeMoyne will kindly ask that the artist honors this 20% commission fee and pay LeMoyne within 1-week after receipt of payment.
- LeMoyne staff and volunteers will do their best to care for your artwork; however, in case of an accident, artists agree to hold LeMoyne Arts harmless in the event of loss or breakage.
Application Info = Artists are required to submit images & pricing examples to represent the type of inventory they want to show at the gallery.
- These images will be reviewed by the jury for consideration. Make sure your images are high-resolution and clearly represent the quality of your work.
- Images must include a Brief Description, Category (Medium), General Dimensions, and Average Price. To add this information click "+Add info" button under the image. You will not be able to complete your application without this information.
- The jury will notify you if you've been accepted or waitlisted. Items with a green check mark next to "‘included in jury" are approved. A red "X" means it's not approved.
Item Eligibility = - Items with unsuccessful sales from previous Holiday Shows will not be accepted.
- Commercial items are not allowed.
- Items must be appropriate for a family-friendly environment.
- All items must be for sale. “Not for Sale” items will not be accepted.
- Trademarked or copyrighted images will not be accepted! (i.e.; college logos, Disney characters, etc.)
- LeMoyne reserves the right to reject items upon in-person review.
Inventory Info = Inventory lists are due to holidays@lemoyne.org by their respective deadline. Buyers will be taking purchased pieces day of/ off the wall. Therefore, we will be restocking daily from our back stock. If special arrangements are needed, please contact staff at holidays@lemoyne.org. Inventory List Deadlines:
- Due by Monday, October 14, 2024
- DEADLINE EXTENSION: Monday, October 21, 2024
- Inventory List Templates are available in the document section of the application.
- Inventory lists MUST be sent to us electronically in an editable format.
- Artists who submit a handwritten, printed, or scanned inventory list will be charged a $25 transcription fee.
Barcode & Label Info = Barcodes will be ready for pick up starting the week of October 28, 2024- Holiday Show artists are required to pick up and adhere the barcode labels to their work, the barcode stickers are created by LeMoyne.
- Artists must use LeMoyne barcodes for pricing.
- Artists can attach a business card to the back/bottom of the piece separate from the barcode if interested.
- Barcodes will be 0.9 x 0.9 inches and fit well on 1-inch tags.
- No colorful tags; neutral tags only (white, tan, black).
- Please see the “Labels Do’s & Don’ts” sheet for more information on labeling your inventory.
Drop-off Info = Work will be accepted at LeMoyne Arts 125 N. Gadsden St. Tallahassee, FL 32301 during operational hours Nov. 6 - 12, 2024 (11am - 6pm). Please note we are closed on Sundays. Use street parking to load and unload.
- Please package your work safely for drop-off with your name clearly marked and note any special care instructions.
- A staff member will review and count the inventory you bring in to get an accurate count of your items in our system.
- LeMoyne reserves the right to reject items upon in-person review.
- Items that do not reflect the type of items and/or quality of their digital application are subject to rejection.
- All artwork must be dry and have durable construction/ hanging fixtures (if applicable). Artwork that is deemed unready will not be accepted.
- Artists must provide or complete a W-9 when submitting their inventory. You can complete and print the form at attached to this Eventeny application, or go to www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/about-form-w-9
Restocking Info = If your work sells well, you will have an opportunity to restock your inventory in the show.
- LeMoyne staff will reach out when your inventory is running low to ask if you are interested in restocking.
- If you agree, an inventory list with your restock items must be sent to holidays@lemoyne.org before you bring in your restock.
- Please make this new inventory list separate from your original inventory list to avoid any confusion.
- Barcodes for your restock should be ready by restock drop-off.
- We ask you to please take the time to label your items at LeMoyne to ensure that your inventory is out on display as soon as possible.
- A volunteer or staff member may be available to assist you with labeling upon request.
- If your barcodes are not ready by the time you drop off your restock, staff will label your items.
- Please know it may take a couple of business days for your restock to make it on the display floor.
- Items brought in without approval for a restock from staff will not be accepted or put out for display.
Unsold Work Info = Based on limited storage space, unsold work must be picked up between Tuesday, January 7, 2025 – Saturday, January 11, 2025, between 11:00 a.m. & 6:00 p.m.
- LeMoyne Arts will not be responsible for items not picked up by Saturday, January 11, unless special arrangements have been made ahead of time. These items will be considered a donation to LeMoyne.
