About the Art Crawl:

Our mission is to champion the arts, music, and local businesses across Long Island. We started the Art Crawl to address the limited cultural diversity in the art scene and lack of opportunities for independent creatives. Since then, we've grown significantly, with increased participation from local businesses, corporate sponsors, and a wider audience.

 

With over 70 artists, makers, and musicians at our last Art Crawl, we're making a positive impact on our community.We're committed to making this event a premier destination for artists in the Tri-state area, thanks to the support of the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Farmingdale.

 

We're thrilled to welcome our new title sponsor, Happy Days! Their generous support allows us to expand the event and create even more opportunities to integrate arts and culture into our communities.

 

Event Details:

 

  • Date: Saturday, October 6th, 2024
  • Time: 12 PM - 5 PM
  • Location: Main Street, Farmingdale (Hub at The Nutty Irishman)
  • Rain Date: October 20th, 2024

Venue Layout:

 

  • North Side of Main Street: Tents for artists and sponsors (10ft x 10ft spaces)
  • South Side of Main Street: Tables for vendors in front of participating businesses (6ft x 4ft spaces)

Who Can Participate:

Open to artists working with: Acrylic, watercolor, oil paint, charcoal, pastel, glass, mixed media, wood, airbrush, clay,photography, digital art, metals, fabrics, and select handmade items.

 

What's Included with Your Vendor Fee:

 

  • Table Vendors: 6-foot table, two chairs
  • Tent Vendors: 10ft x 10ft tent space (tables/chairs not included)
  • Commemorative lanyard, personalized digital flyers, professional event photos, and prioritized customer service.

Please Note: This event does not provide electricity, wifi, or additional tent options.

 

Your Support Matters:

Your vendor fee helps cover staffing, independent musicians, media coverage, marketing, arts advocacy, and public art projects. Colored Colors is a for-profit business and does not receive state/county funding, so your support is vital to our inclusive arts and culture programs.

 

Application Process:

  • All applications are reviewed within 24 hours.
  • You will only be charged if your application is approved.
  • Late applications (after September 7th) incur a $20 fee.

Please note: All communication is through EVENTENY. Download the app for easy access.

 

Reasons for Application Rejection:

  • No-shows at prior Colored Colors events
  • Rude or negative communication with staff
  • Issued chargebacks
  • Violated community guidelines

Terms & Conditions

Colored Colors is not liable or responsible for any accidents or incidents that occur while vendors or patrons are within limits of the event. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged goods. You are welcomed to inquire about temporary event insurance with our team. 
 
In addition each vendor holds responsibility and liability for their own products and space.
 
Colored Colors is not responsible for any sales that the vendor must make. We do not take any commission of your sales after the vendor fee is paid. Lack of sales will not be a valid reason for a refund or credit. 
 
We take responsibility in marketing this event through all our socials, community partners and within other outlets throughout our community. Our priority is to provide an excellent experience to our participants and patrons. 
 
REFUND POLICIES
 
Rain Date Policy:
  • The event holds a rain date, which will be activated in case of inclement weather.
  • No refunds will be provided if the vendor is unable to participate in the scheduled rain date. No exceptions.
Full Cancellation:
  • In case of a full cancellation due to a proven accident, riot, strike, epidemic, forces of nature, or any other legitimate condition beyond our control, the event will be postponed.
  • Vendors will receive a FULL CREDIT valid for one full year from the cancellation date.
Vendor Cancellation:
  • In the event of a vendor cancellation within 60 days of the event, the reason will be reviewed by our team and a 100% vendor credit may be issued, valid for one year from the cancellation date.
  • Last-Minute Vendor Cancellation (within 30 days of the event): The reason will be reviewed by our team. Depending on the circumstances, a 50% credit may be issued, valid for one year from the cancellation date.
  • Please note that cancellations do not guarantee full refunds. All requests will be reviewed.
Credit Exceptions:
  • Credits may have exceptions for some events based on different contractual agreements with our partners.
Once you have signed your name at the end of this application you are agreeing to all of our Terms & Conditions which include our Refund Policies starting January 1st, 2024. All these changes have been made due to multitude of incidents in 2023 and the inconsistency in weather that caused much distraught with our planning. We are diligently working to ensure clear communication and the best overall experience. We look forward to the opportunity to work with all of you.

Prices

TABLE VENDOR SPACE $80 (+ tax and fees) Non-refundable Table vendor spaces will be located exclusively on the south side of Main Street in front of participating businesses. Each space measures 6ft x 4ft. Vendors will be provided with the following amenities: - One 6-foot folding table and two chairs - Commemorative event lanyard - Personalized digital flyers for promotion - 2-3 professional event photos of your booth - Prioritized customer service
TENT VENDOR SPACE $160 (+ tax and fees) Non-refundable Tent vendor spaces will be located exclusively on the north side of Main Street on our closed street area of the event. Each space measures 10ft x 10ft. Vendors will be provided with the following amenities: - One standard 10ft x 10ft tent - Commemorative event lanyard - Personalized digital flyers for promotion - 2-3 professional event photos of your booth - Prioritized customer service Please note table and chair rentals are not included in this tier.
