About the event

The Winter Artisan Market (formerly INDIEana Handicraft Exchange) is a contemporary craft fair that celebrates modern handmade goods, the relationship between creator and consumer, and local economies. The Winter Artisan Market occurs during First Friday. First Fridays at the Harrison Center regularly draw more than 700 attendees. December always features the group color-themed show, which draws one of the largest crowds annually. Most of the products sold by the artists serve the dual purpose of art and function and range from the beautiful to the irreverent, from the adorable to the slightly sinister, from the hysterical to the just plain bizarre. Vendors may use traditional crafting techniques but they express contemporary themes and design. Vendors offer a range of unique handmade goods from jewelry to custom vintage-inspired western wear, from plush animals to natural bath and body goodies, from hand-screened rock ‘n’ roll poster art to pop culture icon finger puppets and much more. About the application

Be part of the Winter Artisan Market and help kick off the holiday, gift giving season during the Harrison Center's popular December First Friday! 
 
For more than 15 years, the Winter Artisan Market (formerly INDIEana Handicraft Exchange) has brought the finest handmade goods to Indianapolis. 
 
The December First Friday event at the Harrison Center welcomes more than 700 visitors who will browse your artisan vendor booth in either the historic gymnasium or intimate Underground Gallery.  
 
Applications will be accepted for both craft and food vendors. Food vendors must have the correct permitting necessary from the Marion County Indiana Health Department. Each application will be reviewed by a panel of independent local community members. 
 
The winter event is indoor only. Booth spots are limited to 30, 9x6 spaces. 
 
Set up begins at 4 p.m. on Friday, December 6. Early set-up and table/chair rental is not available for this event. 

Terms & Conditions

The application fee is non-refundable. If you accepted and must cancel, a full refund will be available until Monday, November 18. If you cancel a booth between November 19 and November 30, you will be issued a 50% refund. After November 30, no refunds will be given for cancellations.
 

Prices

Application fees $25 Non-refundable $25 non-refundable application fee. If you are selected for the fair, your application fee will be applied to the $150 booth fee.
Booth for December First Friday 2024 Vendor Fair $125 $150 total booth fee with your $25 application fee applied to the total cost.
