Artist Forum was founded with the core purpose of offering a platform where local emerging artists can effectively market and sell their exceptional creations, while simultaneously fostering an interactive community of passionate art enthusiasts for networking and learning opportunities. For August we're partnering with Gallery Anderson Smith to offer a unique exhibition like none before. Submit an application to be considered for participation before August 9th, 2024.

About the application

AFA in collaboration with Gallery Anderson Smith is seeking work from all walks of visual artistry. This showcase is dedicated to highlighting fresh, original art that pushes boundaries and offers new viewpoints. We are seeking a diverse range of 2D mediums and styles that challenge conventions and inspire audiences. Apply now until August 9th, 2024.

How to apply:

- Apply using the name you wish to be presented as. (enter in 'Business Name' field)

-Artist are required to submit 3-5 high resolution photos of work they would be interested in displaying in the show. Not every piece submitted on your application is guaranteed to be in the show If your application is approved, you must await final piece selections from our directors.

-Please include correct dimensions, title, year completed, medium (labeled as category below) and sale price (if applicable) for each piece.

-Additionally please provide a brief artist statement describing your work and a little bit about yourself.

-This is a limited two week only, juried application. Apply Immediately to be considered.

Please apply with an email address that is DIRECTLY reachable to you for communications.

A non-refundable fee of $25 is due upon submission of your application.

*Please note Artists are subject to a 1/3 split of artwork sales if a piece is purchased during the time of the show.

Applicants are selected and notified of their application decision 1-2 days after application cutoff on August 9th, 2024.

We recognize the challenges faced by artists in terms of visibility and the limited avenues available to showcase their talents to a wider audience. Our primary objective is to construct that much-needed stage, providing artists with a remarkable platform to exhibit their works and connect with potential buyers, thereby opening up new avenues for income generation that may otherwise be elusive through traditional means.This month we offer to you a hand selected exhibition of Atlanta’s top and up and coming visual artists.
