About the event

The Depot Days Festival rolls into Hartselle each year on the third Saturday in September, bringing a day of free family-friendly fun and entertainment to the historic depot and downtown area. Hosted by the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce, the Depot Days Festival is a tribute to the railroad industry and its contribution to Hartselle and the North Alabama region. In addition to the one-day celebration, there are additional activities planned in the week leading up to the event. Depot Days Festival gets underway at 8 a.m. and lasts until 4 p.m. Activities include a car, truck, and motorcycle show, music performances, food and craft vendors, an art show, a tractor and engine show, and a variety of fun and games for children.

Terms & Conditions

VENDOR RULES AND REGULATIONS - READ CAREFULLY
 
  • Showcase artists are allowed submission of up to 4 pieces to display. It is the artist's responsability to provide your plaques or signage for recognition and payment information for sales. 
  • The festival committee has the right to refuse any vendor or product that is in conflict with community standards.

 

  • Display pieces must be submitted and delivered to 36 West by September 9, 2024. Please call 256.773.4370 to set up a delivery time.
  • NO RAIN DATES AND NO EARLY CLOSINGS. Artists are responsible for handling the sales of their own submissions, and the Depot Days Festival will not be held liable for any damage to pieces left unattended.
  • Miniature gallery holders are free to decorate their galleries as they wish. However, art may not be affixed to the walls. Artists are responsible for providing the racks and displays within their space.
  • No food or beverages can be sold or given away by non-food vendors.         
 
  • We encourage you to set up your Business Profile to begin marketing and selling through our Depot Days website! Update your logo, business info, cover picture, and marketplace of the items you plan to showcase or sell. Visitors will be directed to your Business Profile from your booth space on the map. 
  • Your arrival time, parking instructions, and other important information will be emailed to you the week before the event.
