About the application

Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at the 2024 Minnesota Merry Market at the State Fair! 

 
Event Details:
Saturday, December 14th 10am-5pm
Sunday, December 15th 10am-5pm
Saturday, December 21st 10am-5pm
Sunday, December 22nd 10am-5pm
At the Minnesota State Fairgrounds (in the North End Event Center)
 
Vendors may choose to participate in either or both weekends. In order to participate, vendors must commit to both days of a weekend. No single day vendors will be allowed.
 
Load In:
Friday, December 14th
Friday, December 20th
 
Load Out:
Immediately following the event on Sunday, December 15th and 22nd
 
Vendors that are accepted to participate in both weekends of the market will be allowed to keep their booth set up between weekends. The building will be locked and secured the entire time.
 
Booth Spaces:
-Approximately 90 vendors will be selected to participate.
-Booths will all be 8x8'. Corner booths and double booths will be available on a limited capacity.
-Single booth spaces will be $400 per weekend, doubles will be $800. Corners will be an extra $50 per weekend.
-Electricity will not be provided.
-This is an indoor event, so tents are not required. 
 
Event Specifics:
This event is strategically timed during the busiest shopping weekends of the entire year. We will design the event as a festive holiday event, but it will definitely be marketed as a Christmas shopping event. Outside of the event center, we will create a courtyard of festive experiences (Santa visits, food trucks, train rides, etc) to make sure guests have an exciting holiday experience. All vendors will be located inside the event center.
 
Guest admission is $5 per day. Kids 2 and under are free.
 
Application:
Applications and the $20 Application fee must be submitted by September 14th in order to be considered. 
 
Vendors will be notified of their application status (accepted, waitlisted, or rejected) on October 9th.

Terms & Conditions

Refund Policy

  • Application Fees are non-refundable. 
  • Deadlines for vendor cancellation: 
    • November 10th with 50% refund
    • December 2nd with 50% refund if we are able to fill your space
    • No refunds given after December 2nd

Rules/Regulations

  • All vendors must be onsite during the event, though we are flexible to other staff/family/friends working the booth at times too. 
  • No sell through items. (Buy/Sell not allowed)
  • Vendors may only sell items represented in their application.
  • Vendors are responsible for proper insurance and protection of work and setup. Minnesota Merry Market and Homespun Events are not responsible for loss or damages. 
  • All work must be for sale. Vendors retain 100% of their sales and are responsible for the collection and reporting of applicable sales tax.
  • Vendor booths must be open all hours of the festival. No late arrivals or early exits.
