City of Perry Special Events Vendor Terms and Conditions
1. Application Submission
1.1. Submitting an application does not guarantee selection for any event.
1.2. Applications must be completed in full. Incomplete applications may be waitlisted.
1.3. All information provided in the application must be accurate and current.
2. Selection Process
2.1. Vendors will be selected based on various factors, including but not limited to:
- Relevance to the event theme
- Product/service quality
- Uniqueness and diversity of offerings
- Vendor experience and professionalism
- 2.2. Some events have stricter criteria for vendor selection than others.
- 2.3. Selected vendors will be contacted directly by the City of Perry Special Events Administrator.
3. Participation Fee
3.1. Depending on the event, a refundable deposit may be required. This deposit is fully refundable and/or transferrable to the next year if the vendor chooses.
4. Event Specific Criteria
4.1. Certain events have specific criteria that must be met by vendors.
4.2. For example, Food Truck Friday only permits vendors from the Food and Beverage Industry unless they are an official event sponsor or partner.
5. Vendor Responsibilities
5.1. Vendors must comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
5.2. Vendors are responsible for providing their own equipment, including electricity, water, and any other necessary equipment.
5.3. Vendors must maintain a clean and professional appearance at their booth.
5.4. Vendors are responsible for the setup and teardown of their booth within the specified event times.
6. Liability and Insurance
6.1. The City of Perry is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to vendor property.
6.2. Vendors must carry their own liability insurance and may be required to provide proof of coverage.
7. Cancellation Policy
7.1. The City of Perry reserves the right to cancel an event at any time.
7.2. Vendors will be notified as soon as possible in the event of a cancellation.
7.3 Vendors who cancel or no-show an event will lose the right to participate in City of Perry events. If a deposit was paid, it will not be refunded to the vendor.
8. Conduct
8.1. Vendors must conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
8.2. Any behavior deemed inappropriate by the City of Perry Special Events staff may result in the vendor's removal from the event and disqualification from future events.
9. Communication
9.1. All communication regarding event participation will be conducted via email or phone by the City of Perry Special Events Administrator.
10. Agreement
10.1. By submitting an application, vendors agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
10.2. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in disqualification from participating in City of Perry events.
