This event features live entertainment, crafts for the kids, a real snow playground and snow slide, photo with Santa, and holiday light installations!

About the application

Join us December 7th from 2-8 PM for a Handmade Holiday Market at Duluth's Deck the Hall! Over 30 holiday themed makers will be right in the center of the city's beloved event.
 
The Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces and The Handmade Shops have teamed up with the city of Duluth to bring you a Handmade Holiday Market during the city’s Deck the Hall event.
 
This well loved and highly anticipated event has so much to offer patrons! Photos with Santa, a real snow playground with a slide, and holiday light installations. It’s a perfect setting to have a small handmade market.
 
All vendors will offer either holiday themed or extremely giftable items. Think stocking stuffers, teacher gifts, hostess gifts, decorations and more. We are specifically looking for vendors with holiday themed creations and giftable items.
 
This market will carry over into nighttime hours. While the area is well lit, we HIGHLY recommend you bring lights. There is limited electricity available (you can purchase it when applying). Gas generators are not allowed. All fees are nonrefundable.

LOAD IN INFORMATION: Load in will be the day of the event and will require dollying.  The event is held on a lawn that is surrounded completely by buildings.  There is absolutely no way to pull up next to your space.  If you are unable to set up day of or dolly all of your items, please do not apply. All artists must be completely torn down and off the lawn with in 2 hours of the event's end.
 

NOTIFICATION OF PARTICIPATION: If your application is approved, you will be given several days notice prior to your card being run.  Please ensure the card you have on file is up to date. Applications will be moved to the bottom of the list for declined cards.
 
This application is for handmade artisans only.  Please do not apply as a food truck or drink vendor.  The city handles all of those applications.
 
**** As of 08.04.24 the crochet category is full. Do not apply with crochet unless you understand you will be waitlisted and your app fee will NOT be refunded ***

Terms & Conditions

TERMS & CONDITIONS
*White top tents required. Entire top must be white. 10'x10' Straight leg (slanted legs not allowed)
*160 lbs of professional weights are required (no cinder blocks, free weights, etc). The weights need to be strapped to each tent leg (40 lbs per leg)
*Artist must provide all displays, tent, weights, etc.
*Tables should be covered with four-sided, floor length tablecloths. 
*This is a rain or shine event. There will be no refunds or rain dates. In the event that the city cancells the event, there will be no refunds or carry overs.  

Prices

Application fee $25 Non-refundable
Single 10' x 10' booth $150 Non-refundable This is for one 10'x10' space. There are no refunds.
Electrical Outlet $50 Non-refundable This will provide you with an outlet to run lights in your booth. you may not bring heaters of any kind.
