Food Vendors

Food vendors are anyone serving prepared food covered by Kitsap Health District Regulations.

Temporary Food Vendors must apply for their temporary food permit at least 14 days in advance to not receive a late charge. All food vendors must have Washington State Business License; Poulsbo Business License, Food Service Permits or Exemption Certificates; Food Worker Card(s); L&I Licensing Documentation; and Evidence of Liability Insurance, with products/completed operations coverage.

Vendor booths that will be cooking or have food service will be required to have an approved fire extinguisher. The City’s Fire Marshal will inspect each booth for compliance prior to the event.

By submitting this application, the applicant and associated company (AKA Company) agrees to protect, defend, hold harmless, and indemnify (collectively “Indemnify” and “Indemnification”) North Kitsap Pride, its subsidiaries, and its and their respective successors, assigns, directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates (collectively, “Indemnified Parties”) from and against all claims, demands, actions, suits, damages, liabilities, losses, settlements, judgments, costs, and expenses, including but not limited to reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs (collectively, “Claims”), actually or allegedly, directly or indirectly, arising out of or related to (1) any breach of any representation or warranty of Company contained in this Agreement; (2) any breach or violation of any covenant or other obligation or duty of Company under this Agreement or under applicable law; (3) any third party Claims which arise out of, relate to or result from any act or omission of Company; and (4), in each case whether or not caused in whole or in part by the negligence of North Kitsap Pride, or any other Indemnified Party, and whether or not the relevant Claim has merit.
