ChristmasVille Festival of Trees

We invite you to participate in the Festival of Trees by bringing and decorating your own tree! This is a unique opportunity to showcase your business, demonstrate your design skills, and help our nonprofit (Historic Rock Hill) continue to preserve and promote the collective history of Rock Hill. The event is a wonderful and fun way to express your creativity while supporting a great cause.

The decorated trees will be part of an online auction starting on Wednesday, December 4th at 12 AM, with bidding concluding on December 7th at 9 PM. Each item will have a starting bid set by ChristmasVille and a "buy now" price. Trees that are not sold will need to be picked up on December 9th or 10th between 10 AM - 3 PM, or by appointment. Alternatively, you can choose to donate your tree to Historic Rock Hill.

Guidelines for Trees

• Theme: The theme of your tree must be submitted along with your application, no later than November 15th.
• Supplies: Decorators are responsible for providing the tree/wreath/garland and all decorations.
• Decorations: Please ensure your tree is skirted or has some sort of covering so that the tree stand is not visible. All trees should also have a topper.
• No Edible Items: Edible decorations are not permitted.
• Artificial Trees Only: No live trees, wreaths, or garlands are allowed.
• Advertising: While you may advertise your business with a few ornaments, the colors and overall theme must be Christmas-related or match the festival theme of "Wonderful, Whimsical Wishes."

• Thursday, November 21st, 9 AM - 4 PM or by appointment
• Friday, November 22nd, 9 AM - 4 PM or by appointment
• Monday, November 25th, 9 AM - 4 PM or by appointment
• Tuesday, November 26th, 9 AM - 4 PM or by appointment

Auction:

• Start: Wednesday, December 4th, 12 AM 
• End: December 7th, 9 PM

Public Viewing:

• December 4th, 10 AM - 4 PM
• December 5th, 10 AM - 4 PM
• December 6th, 8:30 AM - 4 PM
• December 7th, 9 AM - 9 PM

Pick Up Times (for items not sold):

•  December 9th, 10 AM - 3 PM or by appointment
•  December 10th, 10 AM - 3 PM or by appointment

We value your time and input on the tree value. However, ChristmasVille will ultimately decide the starting bid value and the "buy now" price. By submitting your application, you agree to these terms.

To ensure all applicants provide the items they apply for and to keep the integrity of the event, there will be a $25 charge to any business or individual who does not withdraw their application or provide items by November 15th.
