The ChristmasVille Artisan and Craft Market provides high-quality handcrafters, artists, and vendors with a venue to showcase their products to an audience of shoppers and festival-goers who are looking for unique and creative gift items...just in time for Christmas! The ChristmasVille Artisan and Craft Market will have a new home this year at Freedom Temple Ministries, right on the corner of Main Street and Oakland Avenue, to allow for both indoor and outdoor vendors and closer proximity to the festival. While there are a few events and activities scheduled for the evening of Thursday, December 5th, the official Artisan and Craft Market hours are as follows and must be respected unless otherwise approved by festival organizers: The Artisan and Craft Market will operate during the following hours: Friday: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Sunday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM Please be advised that all vendor applicants are prohibited from directly contacting Freedom Temple Ministries for any market information or viewing requests. Any such contact will result in the denial of your application. We kindly ask that all questions or concerns be directed to the ChristmasVille Vendor Market team. The ChristmasVille Artisan and Craft Market will have a new home this year at Freedom Temple Ministries, right on the corner of Main Street and Oakland Avenue, to allow for both indoor and outdoor vendors and closer proximity to the festival. While there are a few events and activities scheduled for the evening of Thursday, December 5th, the official Artisan and Craft Market hours are as follows and must be respected unless otherwise approved by festival organizers. 

 

The Artisan and Craft Market will operate during the following hours:

  • Friday: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Sunday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Space Fees:

Spaces are first come, first served, while still preserving the integrity of local, handmade/homemade items. Outdoor vendors should note that there will be a limited amount of generator/power spots. 

 

This application is intended for ventors who serve food from a trailer or truck. The Artisan + Craft Market application is exclusively for food vendors with prepackaged items. NEW this year, we have 3 options for vendors to choose from!

Indoor Space | $400* - completely indoors, climate controlled, private restrooms

Open-Air Tent | $300* - similar to the most recent layout

Open-Air Sidewalk Space | $200* - smaller space depth, more visibility 

 

*There are minimal convenience and service fees that will be applied following acceptance. Please be advised that all vendor applicants are prohibited from directly contacting Freedom Temple Ministries for any market information or viewing requests. Terms & Conditions

Submission of the application does not guarantee participation. All vendors will be juried. Applicants who have been accepted to participate will receive confirmation from the Artisan and Craft Market Team.  Only items listed in the application and approved by the Artisan and Craft Market Team may be sold during the event. Additional items cannot be featured or sold at your display unless approved by November 15th. ChristmasVille reserves the right to remove work deemed unacceptable or represented differently from the application materials.The Artisan and Craft Market will proceed RAIN OR SHINE. Should ChristmasVille be canceled due to severe weather or unforeseen circumstances, vendors may request a partial refund of their vendor fee - $100 of the fee is non-refundable to cover the cost of operations. The vendor must occupy and maintain their display for the duration of the published times of the Artisan and Craft Market. Leaving before the end of the market, or staying open after the market closes, is strictly prohibited. Required Documentation: The City of Rock Hill requires vendors to obtain all applicable federal, state, and local licenses and permits. Required documents include:

 

  • A completed application with a full description of ALL PRODUCTS to be featured at your booth, price ranges, as well as photo(s) of products and vendor booth display.
  • A VALID City of Rock Hill Business License. The application can be found at www.cityofrockhill.com, or you can reach out to the business licensing office directly via email at businesslicense@cityofrockhill.com, or at 803-329-5590.
  • A VALID State of South Carolina Retail Business License. This can be found at www.dor.sc.gov/tax/registration .
  • Any other applicable federal, state, and local permits and/or licenses required to operate in Rock Hill, SC.

 Additional Notes:

 

  • Vendors must be 18 years or older.
  • Vendors are expected to maintain an attractive & uncluttered space.
  • Vendors must post prices in a legible manner and in a visible place.
  • Artists/vendors may respectfully negotiate prices with patrons at their own discretion.
  • Display of signs indicating discounts or otherwise reduced items is prohibited.
  • Reproductions of paintings are acceptable but must be clearly labeled as reproductions and should not make up more than 50% of the artist’s inventory.
  • Jewelry vendors will be limited to no more than 15% of the total mix of exhibitors.
  • The sale or consumption of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited and will result in expulsion.
  • Parking options will be communicated closer to the event.
  • ChristmasVille will not be liable for any lost, stolen or misplaced merchandise or equipment at the event. 

Tent Requirements:

 

  • All 10x10 open air spaces are to provide their own white tent. 
  • Each tent must have a 50 pound weight per leg.
  • Any 3 sided tents must have an 8x10 laminated exit sign hung. 
  • If these requirements are not met, vendors may be released from the market.
  • Indoor vendors will not be allowed to set up tents indoors but can provide (preapproved) alternative methods for hanging items.
  • Sidewalk spaces are 5x10 and tent use is not allowed.

Hold Harmless Agreement

By submitting this application, the applicant shall indemnify and hold harmless ChristmasVille, the City of Rock Hill, and the Old Town Association, its agents, volunteers, elected officials and employees from and against all losses, costs, damages, expense, and liability caused by an accident or other occurrence in bodily injury, including death, sickness and disease to any persons, or damage or destruction to property, real or personal, arising directly or indirectly from Applicant’s operations, products or services at ChristmasVille.   Applicant agrees to waive, release and discharge ChristmasVille, the City of Rock Hill, and the Old Town Association, its agents, volunteers, elected officials and employees, of and from any and all claims, demands, costs, liability and causes of action whatsoever that may arise as a result of Applicant’s participation in ChristmasVille, including but not limited to, any claims, causes of action, liability, damages, demands and costs related to injury to any of the Applicant’s person or property. This waiver and release shall inure to the benefit of ChristmasVille, the City of Rock Hill, and the Old Town Association and shall bind applicant along with its employees, heirs, legal representatives, assigns and successors in interest of the Applicant or any member thereof. I represent that I am the person whose name appears on this vendor application, and that I viewed and understand this Hold Harmless Agreement and the rules, regulations, and guidelines provided.  I acknowledge and agree to the statements, terms, and conditions in this application, and that by submitting this application, I am providing electronic agreement to these terms that will have the same legal effect as signing the document with a written signature, which shall be valid evidence of my intent and agreement to be bound.

Prices

Application fees $25 Non-refundable There is a $25 non-refundable application fee which is charged upon application.
Indoor: 10x10 Space $400 Non-refundable Single booth space is 10 feet wide and 10 feet deep. The facility will be locked down once the market is closed so you can leave your items overnight.
Outdoor: 10x10 Space $300 Non-refundable Single booth space is 10 feet wide and 10 feet deep. You will need to provide your own table and tent (see tent guidelines above). You will be required to load in and load out each day; nothing will be allowed on site after the market is closed each day.
Outdoor: 5x10 Sidewalk Space $200 Non-refundable Single booth space 5x10. You will be required to load in and load out each day; no items to be left on site once the market closes. Spaces will be located on the sidewalk next to Freedom Temple Ministries on Oakland Avenue. This gives you more visibility to festival goers. It also means your space will not be as big. Please keep your storage and item sizes in mind if you choose to apply. These spaces are meant for vendors with smaller items, less inventory, or small displays.
