About the application

Bay Area food and drink vendors are invited to be a part of this event. This includes food trucks and 10x10 food stalls. 
 
Fees
  • $150 per food stall and / or food truck.
Permits
  • If you sell prepackaged food like jams, dessert, etc., you can apply as an Artisan Vendor.
  • All food and drink vendors will need a Temporary Food Facilitating (TFF) Permit from Alameda County which can be found using the link below. 
  • Please note, we DO NOT process TFF’s; this is through the county and this form simply shares where resources can be found.
  • If you are planning to use an open flame, you will need to submit an Alameda County Fire Department FIRE CODE REGULATED ACTIVITY/USE APPLICATION and PERMIT. 
  • All food and drink vendors are required to have their Alameda County Temporary Food Facility Permit or equivalent to participate.

Terms & Conditions

Vendor Responsibility
 
Vendors must provide their own fixtures. Electricity is not provided. Vendors are required to have their own 10'x10' canopy tent. Vendors are required to operate the entire time of the event: 4 pm - 8 pm.
 
Acceptances
 
A limited number of vendors in any category will be accepted to the event. Decisions are at the sole discretion of the organizer and based on, but not limited to: the best interest of the event, history, level of investment, payment, and date of application received. The organizer reserves the right to admit duplicate businesses based on the event's needs and size. Exclusivity may be extended at the organizer's discretion.
 
Media Disclosure
 
Event participants consent to photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, or any other purpose by the Downtown San Leandro Community Benefit District and its partners, affiliates and representatives.
 
Cancellations
 
Vendor cancellations must be submitted to sapna@downtownsanleandro.com no later than 7 days before the event. Absence from the event without notice will result in the forfeiture of the vendor’s payment. If the event is canceled, all vendor payments will be refunded under the terms and conditions of the payment method provided.
 
Permit Requirements
 
California state law requires that all vendors have a valid state seller's permit, including any applicable business licenses and liability insurance. Vendors are responsible for any business or personal insurance necessary to cover their liability. Vendors also waive all responsibility and liability from the Downtown San Leandro Community Benefit District and its partners.
 
Liability
 
The Downtown San Leandro Community Benefit District and its partners are not responsible for any damage or loss to participant property. In attending this event, the vendor waives any claims against the Downtown San Leandro Community Benefit District and its partners in the event of loss, damage, liability, or injury.
