- Electrical Option: I understand that opting for electrical service costs an additional $25. I will bring my own 150' extension cord. If I fail to bring a cord cover, I will not be connected to the power source, and no refund will be issued. Volunteers will assist in connecting power starting at 10 am. Please wait your turn and be courteous.
- Equipment Responsibility: I will provide my own booths, display boards, tables, chairs, canopy coverings, etc., for my area.
Check-in and Setup: Maps and booth locations will be available at check-in at 7 am. Arriving before 7 am, slows the set-up process down. If if you know where. you space is please do not come to the chamber or to the set up area before 7 am. Thank you for your cooperation.
Booth Security: I am responsible for completely securing my booth at night. Although security is provided, it is not omnipresent.
Vendor Etiquette: I will not interrupt customers browsing at other vendors' booths and will always keep my area clean.
Product Listing: I understand that booth or item duplication is possible, but the Sedro-Woolley Chamber of Commerce will endeavor not to place duplicates adjacent to each other. To assist in this effort, I must list my products in detail. Vendors are only permitted to sell items listed on their applications, with exclusivity applying only to Direct Sales Vendors.
Parking Regulations: All vendors must park their vehicles in designated parking areas, not on the street. Failure to comply may result in a ticket and towing at the owner's expense.
Early Departure Policy: Leaving early without committee permission may result in being excluded from future events.
Overnight Accommodations: If staying in a trailer overnight, designated areas must be utilized, not the event streets. Options include Gateway RV (360) 202-9017, Riverfront Park campsites (https://sedrowoolley.rja.revize.com/app/bookable-groups/Riverfront_RV), and Eagle Haven Winery (360) 856-6248, which is a Harvest Host.
Booth Attendance: A representative must be present at the booth at all times, with short meal and break closures permitted.
Sales and Tax Responsibility: Each vendor is responsible for conducting their own sales and collecting sales tax. Attendance for the full three days is encouraged; failure to do so may result in exclusion from future events.
Inclement Weather Policy: The committee will monitor inclement weather and notify vendors of any early closures.
Conduct: Courteous behavior towards staff, volunteers, and fellow vendors is expected. Any form of rudeness, yelling, racial slurs, or derogatory comments will not be tolerated and may result in immediate expulsion without refund.
Family-Friendly Environment: This is a family-friendly event, and any items deemed inappropriate by the committee must be removed upon request.
Security: Security will be onsite from 8 pm to 9 am on Friday and Saturday nights.
Indemnification: The Contractor agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Sedro-Woolley Chamber of Commerce, the City, agencies of the City, and all officials, agents, and employees of the State, to the fullest extent permitted by law, from and against all claims arising out of or resulting from the performance of the contract. "Claim" as used in this agreement means any financial loss, claim, suit, action, damage, or expense, including but not limited to attorney’s fees, attributable to bodily injury, sickness, disease, or death, or injury to or destruction of tangible property, including loss of use resulting therefrom. The Contractor's obligation to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless includes any claim by the Contractor’s agents, employees, representatives, or any subcontractor or its employees.
Additional Indemnification: The Contractor expressly agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Sedro-Woolley Chamber of Commerce and the City for any claim arising out of or incident to the Contractor’s or any subcontractor’s performance or failure to perform the contract. The Contractor shall be required to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Sedro-Woolley Chamber of Commerce and the City only to the extent the claim is caused in whole or in part by negligent or intentional acts or omissions of the City. The Contractor affirms that they possess all permits, licenses, insurance, etc., required by the city, county, and state to operate a legal business and are of legal age (18 years or more).
Participation Agreement: In consideration for allowing participation, the Contractor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Sedro-Woolley Chamber of Commerce and their agents, the City of Sedro-Woolley and their agents, from expenses of whatsoever kind or nature, including attorney’s fees, incurred by reason of or in connection with participation in this event.
Political Entries: Political entries are prohibited.
- Entry Refusal: We reserve the right to refuse entry to any individual or entity at our discretion.
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the Contractor acknowledges that they have read and understand all the foregoing Rules and Regulations.
