About the application

This Program is designed to help facilitate the establishment of new businesses and aid in the expansion of existing businesses within the Boynton Beach CRA Area. The program is designed to provide financial assistance to new and existing businesses in the form of a 50% matching, reimbursable grant intended to reduce the initial costs associated with the design, repair and rehabilitation of buildings or other improvements in accordance with the BBCRA Community Redevelopment Plan. Improvements paid for by the BBCRA must be permanent and stay with the building.

About the event

As part of its mission and to activate vacant commercial spaces, create jobs, and develop a vibrant downtown, the BBCRA provides financial assistance in the form of 50% matching reimbursable grants to businesses looking to expand or relocate to the BBCRA area.

Terms & Conditions

Minimum Qualifications:

Commercial Business must be located within the BBCRA boundaries (view CRA Map)
Applicant must have a credit score of 601 or higher with no history of bankruptcy
Must have at least a 2 year lease OR own the property
For-profit

Application Fee Terms & Conditions:

Accepted Payments for the application fee: Check, Money Order, Cash, Credit Card.
A credit card is required to submit the vendor application, even if you are not paying with a credit card.
If paying with a credit card, you will be charged only after the application has been processed and reviewed by BBCRA staff (not at the time of submission)
If you are NOT paying with a Credit Card, your Credit Card WILL NOT be charged after the application has been processed and reviewed by BBCRA staff
Cash only accepted in-person.
Payment via credit card is an option, but will have a 5.9% + $.30 processing fee.
