About the event

The Kimmswick Strawberry Festival is a major annual event that draws thousands of visitors to the historic City of Kimmswick every year. Hundreds of vendors including artisan crafters, merchants, artists, collectors, live musicians, specialty food trucks and booths, and select corporate sponsors bring their very best offerings for this festival during the first weekend of June.

About the application

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Food Vendor at the 2025 Kimmswick Strawberry Festival.  
 
Each Food Vendor booth space: 10 feet X 10 feet for $275. This fee includes a temporary business license and one parking pass. An additional parking pass for each vendor can be picked up at Kimmswick City Hall.  
 
A very limited number of spaces/booths with an electric hookup are available for an additional fee of $35. If you are requesting a space/booth with access to electricity, a festival volunteer will reach out to you to discuss and/or coordinate. Payment for electricity will be made following approval. 

Terms & Conditions

General Rules and Regulations
The rules and regulations set by the City of Kimmswick and the Kimmswick Events Committee are binding for all vendors. 
 
This application is an electronic agreement. By submitting it you affirm you have read these terms and conditions and agree to them. 
 
No festival vendor spaces will be secured as complimentary by any business or nonprofit organization that engages in the sale of goods, products or services at City of Kimmswick festivals.  
 
No private property space-leased vendors will be permitted to participate in the Kimmswick Strawberry Festival.  No temporary business licenses will be issued by the City of Kimmswick to private property space-leased vendors.    
 
No festival vendor spaces may be "subleased" to or secured on behalf of another organization.  No exceptions will be made. 
 
No partial or half vendor spaces will be made available or sold at City of Kimmswick festivals. 
 
No trademark infringement will be permitted. Monitoring and enforcement personnel are on site throughout festival.  
 
The City of Kimmswick and the City of Kimmswick Events Committee reserve the right to accept or refuse any vendor application, in their sole and absolute discretion.
 
All Food Vendors must have a permit from: 
Jefferson County Health Department 636-797-3737.  
 
All Food Vendors using any cooking equipment will be required to contact:
 
Rock Community Fire Protection District 636-296-2211, Ext. 700 to inquire if a permit is required.  
 
Inspectors from both agencies will be on site to complete food vendor space/booth/truck inspections.  
 
Food Vendors must provide documentation of an insurance policy having a minimum coverage of at least Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000) with the City of Kimmswick named as the additional insured. The City of Kimmswick must have this insurance policy documentation two weeks prior to the festival.  Nothing herein is to be interpreted as a waiver of the City’s Sovereign Immunity.
 
FOOD VENDOR APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER MAY 1, 2025.
 
NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER MAY 1, 2025.
NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. 
 
BY APPLYING TO BE A FOOD VENDOR AT THIS EVENT, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND CONFIRM YOUR UNDERSTANDING THAT THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ISSUED AFTER MAY 1, 2025.
 
I hereby release the City of Kimmswick, Missouri, and its employees and agents, private property owners, the Events Committee, and its individual members from responsibility for damage to the food or products displayed/sold and my personal possessions as well as for any personal injury to myself or others.  
 
I am also responsible for any injury that occurs to my booth/space/truck/equipment. I also agree to indemnify and hold harmless said organizations and individuals for any damage or injury which may result from the sale or display of my products.

SETUP
Upon arrival as a Food Vendor, please be certain to set up in your assigned space(s). If you do not set up in your assigned space(s) a City/festival official will attempt to reach you to move immediately. If necessary, the contents/products of your booth/space will be moved to the correct space. The City of Kimmswick and/or City/festival officials will not be responsible for any damage done during the transfer/storage of items.

PARKING
Parking on City of Kimmswick streets the Thursday and Friday prior to the festival is prohibited due to festival setup. Vehicles parked on city streets after booth item drop-off will be towed at the owner's expense. Non-street space-assigned vendors may begin set up at noon on the Wednesday prior to the festival. However, vendors in assigned street spaces may not begin set up until after 4:00 PM on the Friday before the festival. 
 
If you prefer to set up the day of the festival, your vehicle must be moved off city streets before 8:00 AM. You will need to unload your vehicle and move it to the designated parking areas as soon as possible.  

An additional parking pass may be picked up at Kimmswick City Hall on a first-come, first-served basis until the lots reach capacity. Parking will also be available at Windsor School Campus and the City of Kimmswick ball field for a nominal fee. Please enter the City of Kimmswick via Montebello Road on the Saturday and Sunday of the festival.  
 
Please do not move your vehicle from designated parking areas prior to 5:00 PM on festival days, if possible. 
 
 

Prices

10' x 10' Food Vendor Booth $275 A single booth space is 10 feet wide and 10 feet deep. This fee includes a temporary business license and one parking pass. An additional parking pass per vendor for the event may be picked up at Kimmswick City Hall.
Electricity (Pending Approval) $35 A very limited number of booths with an electric hookup are available for an additional fee of $35.  If requested, a festival volunteer will reach out to you to discuss and/or coordinate.  Payment for electricity will be made following approval.
