About the application

Labor Day (Monday, September 2, 2024) is set aside to give local community groups the opportunity to raise funds, primarily through the sale of food and beverage items. This aspect of Septemberfest dates back to the original intent of the festival's founders.

The Taste of Schaumburg is held the first two of the three days of the festival; not-for-profit
organizations partner with restaurants and food vendors to sell food and beverages on Monday,
Sept. 2, 2024. Participating restaurants sponsoring not-for-profit organizations may also serve
alcohol on Monday as they do on Saturday and Sunday.

Terms & Conditions

To be eligible to secure a space at Septemberfest, your non-profit organization must be either based in Schaumburg, or have over 50% of its members living in Schaumburg. In general, any organization which participated in the festival the preceding year shall have first option on that particular food item to be sold. If, however, an organization runs out of the food item it is selling before 7 p.m., the ability to exclusively sell that item the following year will be jeopardized.

Please see attached Taste of Schaumburg's Not-for-Profit Day Guidelines for Septemberfest 2024.
