About the event

The City of Mountain View, Arkansas welcomes everyone to the 63rd Annual Arkansas Folk Festival April 18th and 19th. Take a walk around the historic downtown area and see many window displays, the Artisans Market featuring handmade arts and crafts, antique cars, food vendors, and of course, live music! The parade is Saturday and begins at 10 a.m. The Ozark Folk Center has free shuttle service to and from the court square. Bring your instruments and have some fun with us pickin' and grinnin'!

Vendor Information:
 
Vendor Hours:
  • - Friday, April 18th: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
  • - Saturday, April 19th: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Prohibited Items:

To maintain the family-friendly atmosphere of the event, the following items are strictly prohibited from display, sale, or distribution: firearms (knives are permissible), any form of pornography, controlled substances, drug-related paraphernalia, and offensive or profane items. Prostitution and gambling in any form are strictly prohibited. The Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to determine violations of this policy. If a violation is confirmed, the vendor will be immediately removed from the event without refund.
 
Utilities:
  • - Electricity: Not provided
  • - Water: Not provided
Sales Tax:

Vendors are responsible for the collection and remittance of all applicable state sales taxes in accordance with Arkansas law.
 
Parking:

All vendors are required to park in the designated vendor parking area. Vehicles are not permitted near the vendor area for convenience. 
 
Vendor Fees:
  • - Traditional Vendor Space: $155.00 per 10' x 10' space. For additional spaces, the first is $155.00 and each subsequent space is $100.00.
  • - Non-Profit Vendor Space: $105.00 per 10' x 10' space.
  • Fees include a parking pass for one vehicle and the city permit fee of $25.00.
Set-Up and Tear Down:

Vendors are responsible for the setup and teardown of their displays. Setup must be completed by 11:30 AM on Friday, April 19th, with all vehicles relocated to designated parking areas. Tear down is not permitted before 5:00 PM on Saturday for safety reasons. Vendors must remove their vehicles from the vendor area before setting up.
 
Trash Disposal:

Trash cans will be provided throughout the event, and vendors are responsible for their own trash. Vendors must collapse boxes and dispose of trash in provided dumpsters.
 
Event Guidelines:

Folk Fest reserves the right to refuse or remove any vendor whose products, intentions, or attitudes are not aligned with the family-oriented nature of the event. Offensive merchandise will result in immediate removal without refunds. Vendors are encouraged to discuss any questionable items in advance.

By submitting the application, vendors acknowledge that they have read and agree to abide by all related information, rules, and regulations outlined herein.
