Join us in beautiful Berkley Riverfront Park for our largest weekly arts & music festival ♥ Nestled between the new KC Current stadium, Origin Hotel and the upcoming 2 Birds 1 Stone beer garden, our little hippie festival by the river is quickly growing with over 1500 visitors every Sunday!
Why is this event important to the KC community? Art Garden KC's Berkley Riverfront Festival functions as a low risk/low barrier entrepreneurial "test kitchen", supporting over 60 diverse artists, makers, and innovators EVERY Sunday...many from minority communities and low-income ZIP codes. Our booth fees for artists at Berkley are just $10 - ensuring that all creatives, no matter their financial situation, can participate! For new and emerging artists, we even provide FREE canopies and equipment to those in need. Putting yourself out there and sharing your talents can be scary, therefore we make every effort to encourage a supportive, non-competitive environment. At Berkley, creative entrepreneurs can expand their business budget, gain sales/marketing experience, develop their product display and eventually graduate to our curated markets in higher-traffic venues! Throughout the season, we also partner with fellow organizations to host entrepreneurial education classes for youth and small businesses. Beyond vendor impact, Berkley Riverfront Festival also provides a consistent space for KC families and individuals to play, create, heal and escape the craziness of everyday life together ♥ In 2023, Art Garden KC provided a $1.4 Million economic impact to the creative small business community and $10,700 in support to local musicians! Time: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Booth Fee: 10 x 10 space
- Commercial Rate: $250 per event date + 3% processing fee
- Non-Profit Rate: $150 per event date + 3% processing fee
No application fee to apply! - COMMERCIAL VENDOR: A business/organization that does not fall within our "handmade artist/maker guidelines" and intends to set up to advertise, disseminate information, and/or sell a product, device, or service. We encourage vendors to provide an interactive activity or merch giveaways at their booth.
- NON-PROFIT VENDOR: A non-profit booth is defined as any organization with a 501(c)(3) designation. A copy of your tax-exempt status must be submitted with your application.
- Vendors must provide their own 10x10 canopy, 20-30lb weights per leg, chairs, tables, tablecloths, and displays.
- Commercial/Non-Profit vendors will be given notice once approved for all or some of the dates requested. If spaces are full, you may be added to our waitlist and contacted once a space is available.
- If approved, your account will be charged (in full) on the 1st of the month for ALL approved dates in that month, unless you request to pay in full for ALL approved dates this season or make a different payment arrangement.
- Booth locations will be assigned on the event map. Your map location will be viewable 1 week prior to the event date. Art Garden reserves the right to make changes to booth locations as needed.
