About the application

This application is for all adult performers that are 19 and over. Please fill out this application to be considered as a potential semi-finalist.  If chosen to be a semi-finalist the performer/band will perform live in front of our judges on Saturday August 24 at the first annual Peachtree Corners has Talent event. Live performances will be on the Main Stage at the Town Green between 4pm and 8pm. All applicants will be notified by July 15 on if they will be a semi-finalist. Please be sure to read over all the terms and conditions before applying.

About the event

Head to the Town Green to experience "Peachtree City Has Talent." A new addition to the 2024 event line up, we will showcase the diverse talents of our city's residents. This event welcomes performers of all ages. This year the competition will focus on singers, songwriters, and bands. With applications now open, we invite aspiring artists to seize the stage and share their creativity with the community. Terms & Conditions

RESIDENCY Solo Performers must be Peachtree Corners residents. Bands/Group performers must have one member who is a Peachtree Corners resident. Should applicants not be able to prove to their residents they will be disqualified from the competition. Applicants under the age of 18 can use their parent or guardian address.   PERFORMACE This is a family friendly event. All performances must not contain any foul or crude language and should be kept PG. Should Peachtree Corners or Premier Events find your performance to inappropriate it will be cut short and the performers will be disqualified.      BACKLINE & EQUIPMENT Production will be provided including onstage audio. Onstage audio will consist of powered wedges, a standard microphone package, DI’s, mic stands, XLR cabling, & AC power drops. We will not be providing any in-ear monitoring or RF capabilities. 
 
Basic festival backline will be provided. This includes: A house drum kit, bass rig (head & cabinet), & an eighty-eight key weighted keyboard with bench.
 
Performers must bring everything else needed to perform including but not limited to: All stringed instruments, ¼” TS instrument / patch cables, guitar amps, guitar stands, synths, any smaller keyboards, music stands, & drumsticks. Drummers are welcome to bring & use their own snare & cymbals. However, all drummers must play on the festival drum kit. Likewise, all basses will be run through the festival bass rig or a DI. There will be no sharing of personal backline equipment between acts unless agreed upon by all parties in advance.   MARKETING Performer hereby grants the event and its producers the right to use any and all photographs of Performer’s performance at the event and any other photographs, audio recordings and video recordings provided by Performer or its designee for promotional purposes for use in any event marketing or promotional materials without additional compensation to Performer or any other person or entity.   IMPORTANT DATES All applicants will be notified by July 15 if they have moved on to the semi-finalist performances. All load in materials, time slots and event information will be sent out by August 16.     PERFORMERS 16 & UNDER  Any performance were applicants are under 16 must have a parent or guardian sign off on the application and with them backstage at all times.   WEATHER Peachtree Corners has Talent is weather permitting. The city of Peachtree Corners will make final call on if event needs to be canceled due to weather. Performer agrees that in the event of acts of God, storms, floods, high winds, gales or hurricanes that the city of Peachtree Corners, Premier Events, nor any of its employees or agents shall not be responsible for loss, damage, third party damages, claims or loss to property, persons or vessels. It is the Event Management’s sole and absolute discretion to order an evacuation of the Event, or to take necessary steps to protect public health and property in the event of an act of God, hurricane, or the issuance of a severe weather warning for Atlanta or its environs by the National Weather Service.      MERCHANDISE SALES Performers are not permitted to sell any merchandise during this event.   PRIZES Will be announced closer to the show!
