About the event

Friends of the Mother Lode Fairgrounds in partnership with Mountain Meadow Productions is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Sonora Christmas Artisan Fair. The fair will be hosting over 100 Artisan vendors and food vendors. The Courtyard will house the main stage, Top Shelf Elf Lounge, The Cocoa Cottage, fresh coffee and many more food vendors. We will be adding a larger tent for more vendors. The Sierra Market Place will once again promote our local Cottage Businesses, crafts and The Santa Workshop.

About the application

The Sonora Christmas Artisan Fair will be held Thanksgiving weekend, Friday 29 & Saturday 30 of November 2024 in Sonora, Ca. at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds. 
 
  • Set up is Wednesday, November 27, 10 am-4 pm or Friday, November 29, 7:00-8:30 am. 
  • Vendors should be set up and ready to go by 8:30 am
  • Vendors are chosen by Jury. *Vendor type will be limited. 
  • Your fees will not be collected until you have been approved.
  • All Vendor Booths are required to be decorated Christmasy. Additional booth lighting is recommended. Please dress warmly in a festive holiday manner. * the old buildings are quite chilly.
Categories: Artisans may apply in up to 3 categories. 
 
  • Your main medium must be comprised of at least 75% of your total inventory.
  • All inventory must be listed on this application.
  • Any inventory not declared on this application may be denied upon arrival at the event.
  • All sellers must provide a Certificate of Liability with Sonora Christmas Artisan Fair listed as additionally insured.
  • All Sellers must provide their Federal ID Number and their Tuolumne County Sellers Permit. *required by venue
  • Cottage Food Operations must submit a TFF. *required by Tuolumne County.  
This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the booths, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.

Terms & Conditions

Regulations and Conditions:
Friends of the Mother Lode Fairgrounds & Mountain Meadow Production Co. herein referred to as management and You and Your Company, herein referred to as Vendor.
 
  • Vendor is required to obtain all required license(s), permits(s), and to collect and report all sales tax generated at the show as required by local, state, and/or federal governmental agencies. 
  • Vendor must abide by the published schedule of show hours, move-in and move-out times and may not terminate his/her exhibit early.
  • Vendor must occupy his/her booth at least one hour prior to the opening of the show; otherwise, management may relocate or cancel Vendor’s booth without further notice and with no refund or exchange.
  • Management assumes no responsibility and liability for any merchandise left within the event grounds.
  • It is Vendor’s sole responsibility to leave the rented space in its original condition.
  • Vendor must have liability insurance and be responsible for his/her own action and/or liability resulting from the operation of his/her exhibit. Vendor is liable for all liability inside as well as six feet away from his/her booth.
  • Vendor must abide by all city, county, state and Federal laws.
  • Management prohibits all illegal activities; participating in such activities will be grounds for immediate cancellation of services without refund.
  • Exhibitor agrees to hold Management harmless from all liability including, but not limited to any bodily, illegal activity, property damage, and all other liabilities arising from the operation of the exhibit or products sold during the show.
  • Management offers no guarantee on attendance or Vendor’s performance.
  • Subletting of booth space is not permitted without Management’s written consent otherwise Vendor’s right to exhibit will be forfeited without refund.
  • Management reserves the right to alter floor plan and/or to re-assign exhibit space if deemed necessary for the commonwealth of the show. If Vendor accepts a reassigned space for any reason, the fulfillment of this contract is deemed completed with no other recourse possible.
  • Management has the right to rent space to firms, companies, individuals, and organizations engaged in similar or competitive business to Exhibitor.
  • Management will not offer exclusive rights to any Vendor; unless in writing on contract.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse business to anyone or organization.
  • Due to nature of trade show business, Vendor assumes full obligation of this contract including the full balance due once contract is signed.
  • No refund, or exchange is allowed.
  • Vendor may not distribute advertising materials without written permission from Promoter.
  • SCAF logo may not be used or altered without written permission from management. Please submit your proposed design to Meadow at mountainmeadowproductions@gmail.com 
  • The signature of this application constitutes an agreement on your part to abide by the regulations and conditions stated on this application.

Guaranteed corner booth space $25 No guaranteed corner booths available outside.
Space for a 4' or 6' table $100 Space for a 4 or 6 foot table & chair(s) outdoor under our tent. Please let us know which size table you will be bringing.
Electrical Outlet $25 Electrical availability is limited, you can guarantee a booth with access. * If you require electricity please choose this option.
