Please read these terms and conditions carefully before submitting application.
Vendor spaces are limited and available on a first paid/first reserved basis. All vendors are subject to approval by the Merriment in Melrose Committee. Mass merchandise not allowed. Political campaigns and/or candidate booths are not allowed.
Vendors are responsible to supply your own tents, tables, chairs, lighting, and other merchandising supplies for your own booth.
Vendor check-in will be sent to you approximately two weeks prior to event date. Vendors are assigned a check-in zone to help with unloading traffic. Please do not arrive early for your zone as you may not be allowed access to your space. If you do not check in by assigned time, your space will be forfeited. Booth space is to be set-up by 1:30pm, to be open for business by 2pm and to remain open until the event closes at 6pm. The vendor or representative of the vendor must be present at the booth at all times for the duration of the event.
Vendors agree to only sell what is stated on the submitted application. An MCA representative may ask you to remove items not declared on the original application.
Vendors agree to be present at the event despite weather conditions. The Merriment in Melrose Event is held rain or shine and refunds are not issued. Vendors display all merchandise at your own risk.Vendor spaces are non-transferable.
Melrose Merchants Association and Osborn School District are not responsible for damage, theft, or loss of merchandise or booth facilities. Vendors are responsible for the cleanliness of their own booth space and the surrounding area throughout and at the close of the event. Vendors agree to allow the use of videos and photographs, taken during the event for promotional purposes. Vendors agree to obey all pertinent codes, laws, ordinances and regulations, including but not limited to; fire, safety, and parking.
Canopy tents must be fire retardant. Melrose Merchants Association, or its Board, as well as the event coordinators are not liable for refunds or any other liabilities for the vendor’s failure to obey the rules and regulations or due to the unstable condition of the area in which the event is held, caused by but not limited to; weather, fire or other calamity, any act of nature, public enemy, strikes, statutes, ordinances of any legal authority or any other cause beyond Melrose Merchants Associations control.
Melrose Merchants Association, at their sole discretion reserves the right to refuse participation to any vendor, entertainer, or other participant for any reason. Melrose Merchants Association reserves the right to request any vendor, entertainer, or other vacate and leave the event premises due to merchandise or behavior deemed inappropriate for this family event, the sale of merchandise other than approved on your application or any other reason.No refunds are issued in the case of stated incidences.
Cancellations:
Vendors who cancel their registration will not be refunded their registration fee. Vendors who do not attend the event without notice will not receive a refund and may not be considered for future events. Please consider the donation to the Osborn Music Programs and the benefit of these registration costs.
Communications
The entire communication with Melrose Merchants Association is electronic. Every time you send us an email or visit our website, you are going to be communicating with us. You hereby consent to receive communications from us. If you subscribe to the news on our website, you are going to receive regular emails from us. We will continue to communicate with you by posting news and notices on our website and by sending you emails. You also agree that all notices, disclosures, agreements, and other communications we provide to you electronically meet the legal requirements that such communications be in writing.
Comments, Reviews, and Emails
Visitors may post content as long as it is not obscene, illegal, defamatory, threatening, infringing of intellectual property rights, invasive of privacy, or injurious in any other way to third parties. Content has to be free of software viruses, political campaigns, and commercial solicitation.
We reserve all rights (but not the obligation) to remove and/or edit such content. When you post your content, you grant [name] non-exclusive, royalty-free and irrevocable right to use, reproduce, publish, modify such content throughout the world in any media.
User Account
If you are an owner of an account on this website, you are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your private user details (username and password). You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account or password.
We reserve all rights to terminate accounts, edit or remove content and cancel orders in their sole discretion.
