About the event

Join the City of Lilburn as we present our Christmas Parade down Main Street! Santa and all of his helpers will participate in this annual Lilburn tradition. The parade will make its way down Main Street ending in Lilburn City Park for the lighting of the big tree! We would love to celebrate Lilburn's diverse community this year with a Christmas Around the World theme. You can represent your culture with authentic dress, build a float that depicts a special tradition, or dance along in the parade to holiday music from your country. Be creative and let your imagination run wild.

About the application

The Lilburn Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting event, Saturday December 2nd, will travel down Main Street starting at 3:00 p.m. and end in Lilburn City Park. After the parade there will be musical performances on the bandshell, Rudolph and Santa Selfies in the pavilion, train rides around the park, elf balloon twisters, and more! The night will end at 6:00 p.m. with the lighting of the big tree in Lilburn City Park.
Savory/Hot Food Vendors that are selected to be a part of the event will be charged a $65 nonrefundable vendor fee upon approval .
Sweet/Dessert Food Vendors that are selected to be a part of the event will be charged $40 nonrefundable vendor fee upon approval.
If accepted to be a vendor at the event detailed instructions will be emailed to you about 7 days prior to the event date.

Terms & Conditions

Rules for food vendors:
  • Application deadline is November 1, 2023 at 3:00 pm.
  • Number and variety of vendors will be determined by the City of Lilburn.
  • The City of Lilburn may remove a vendor for any reason.
  • If you submit an application for a specific truck, that truck and setup should be the only one at the event.
  • You can not substitute a truck or setup unless this was arranged in advance with the Event Coordinator.
  • No-show trucks will be dropped from future events with no refund.
  • Vendors should be ready to sell by 3:00 pm. No sells after 6:00 pm.
  • Only accepted vendors who have paid their fee will be permitted.
  • Vendors must have their own tents, tables, chairs, extension cords, lighting, generators, and water.
  • All tents must be weighted and can not be staked.
  • If a generator is used it must be quiet as to not disturb other vendors or the event.
  • Grease will only be allowed in self contained cooking units and cannot be disposed of in the park.
  • You can not serve alcohol or anything in glass bottles.
  • All events are outside rain or shine.
  • The City of Lilburn and its employees assume no liability for loss or injury. Applicant agrees to hold The City of Lilburn and its employees harmless for any loss or injury.
  • Applicant agrees to abide by industry standards relating to safe food handling, preparation, and service.
  • All vendors are personally responsible to take all precautions with regards to COVID-19 set forth by the CDC, Health Officials, and State of Georgia Guidelines in order to protect yourselves while attending this event. You recognize that you will be exposed to the public and many individuals at this event. By signing this application, the applicant acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to the policies and terms outlined in this document.
  •  Attendees and vendors should practice CDC guidelines with regards to COVID-19, including social distancing and wearing a mask. www.cdc.gov
  • Previous Christmas parades and Tree Lighting events have enjoyed an average attendance of 5000+.

Prices

Food Truck / Savory / Hot $65 Non-refundable The $65.00 Savory/Hot Vendor Fee is charged once you have been approved to participate in the event. If the City has to cancel the event for any reason your $65.00 vendor fee will be refunded.
Sweet / Dessert Cart $40 Non-refundable The $40 Sweet/Dessert Cart Vendor Fee is charged once you have been approved to participate in the event. If the City has to cancel the event for any reason your $40.00 vendor fee will be refunded.
