45th Annual International Folk Festival September 22nd- September 24th All nationalities join together each year at The Arts Council's International Folk Festival to honor and celebrate our diverse cultural heritage as ONE COMMUNITY. Now in its 44th year, our region's longest-standing family festival features over 30+ CULTURAL GROUPS represented in our Parade of Nations, International Café & Cultural performances which unify in sharing the artistic vibrancy of their heritage. 50,000-75,000+ ATTENDEES enjoy an array of festivities in the performing arts, live music and dance, international cuisines, ART Market, Kids Area, and lots of family-friendly fun Arts Market Parade of Nations Around the World 5k Run International Cuisines Cultural Performances Interactive Art Installations Kids Area

About the application

We would like to invite you to join us for the largest celebration of Arts, Culture and FOOD in the region and apply as a community organization/non-profit in our 45th Annual International Folk Festival.
  
Thank you for your interest in being a Community Organization/Non-profit that is interested in sharing information/literature at the 2023 International Folk Festival hosted by the Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County in Downtown Fayetteville. 
 
PLEASE NOTE:  This application only applies to Community Organizations/Non-Profits that are interested in only sharing information and not selling.  If you are looking to sell items/tickets/memberships/food please consult the homepagefor a list of all other vendor applications (Commercial, Food, Parade, International etc.).
 
Festival Hours:
Saturday September 23rd 12pm-7pm
Sunday September 24th   12pm-7pm
 
This price includes one 10x10 booth at our 45th Annual International Folk Festival.  The Arts Council will provide each Artist with a space number and 10x10 space INCLUDING ELECTRICITY.  The vendor will be responsible for any tent, tables, chairs, literature, wifi access and other equipment needed to sell your art/wares during the event.
 
Vendors will be charged the full amount of the application to include additional options (electricity, late fee, early morning set-up etc.) if/when application is approved.  The festival is a rain or shine festival and no refunds or exchanges will be allowed after submission.

Terms & Conditions

In addition to the terms and conditions listed on this application, each accepted vendor is a representation of The Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County and is expected to maintain a level of professionalism and care for the ARTS.  We have the authority and responsibility to remove any vendors that do not comply with our internal festival rules/guidelines as well as local/federal guidelines.
 
Furthermore, Accepted vendors will receive additional information about festival rules to include parking, vendor set-up, load-in and a variety of other questions.

Prices

Community Organization/Non-profit $250 Non-refundable This price includes one 10x10 booth space at our 44th Annual International Folk Festival. The Arts Council will provide each vendor with a space number, business sign, and 10x10 space NOT INCLUDING ELECTRICITY. The vendor will be responsible for any tent, tables, chairs, information/literature, wifi access and other equipment needed to sell your art/wares during the event. Vendors will be charged the full amount of the application to include additional options (electricity, late fee, early morning set-up etc.) if/when application is approved.  The festival is a rain or shine festival and no refunds or exchanges will be allowed after submission. Late Fee $50 Non-refundable Any applications submitted after August 30, 2022 will be subject to a $50.00 late fee. These applications will taken on a case-by-case basis and dependent on festival space availability.
Electricity $25 Non-refundable Due to the nature of the festival being an outdoor event during the day there is not a need for artists to purchase electricity for lighting. However, to make a more comfortable experience for artists using pay systems, small fans or other small electrical uses we will provide outlet access for an additional $25.
