About the event

The Preserve in Hoover, Alabama is a regional focus for Art +Design, SmartLIVING and Nature lovers everywhere with the return of MOSS ROCK FESTIVAL on the first full weekend of November. Innovation, imagination, and fun await thousands of visitors under a blanket of fall colors at this idyllic neighborhood setting adjacent to Hoover’s own 350 acre Moss Rock Preserve. Alongside exhibiting artists are +Design products and tech exhibitions and demos by makers, designers, engineers, and up-cyclers. MRF also features SmartLIVING ideas and marketplace, live music; Beer Garden craft tasting event (ticketed); WonderKid Studios; Nature enthusiasts district, and popular local food trucks among other festival favorites. It is guaranteed to be a weekend where wonderful discoveries are the norm! Festival hours: Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm

OVERVIEW August 21, 2020 is the Application Deadline. Submitting this Application Confirms you have Read and Comply with the 2020 Moss Rock Festival Terms, Conditions, Guidelines, Information, and General Release Document attached in the Related Files section below. A credit card will be required with your Application. The following Fee Schedule will occur unless notified to the contrary beforehand: Non-Refundable Application Fee: charged upon Submission Jury Notifications: emailed September 1, 2020 Booth Confirmation Fee: charged on September 10th Booth Fee Balance: charged on October 5th. Notifications will be emailed as spaces become available before and after September 10, 2020. All Wait List exhibitors must confirm their place by reply email to the Notification, by the date given. The Booth Fee Balance will be required upon receipt. SITE REQUESTS The MRF site layout has been redesigned to create wider avenues among other strategies for a safe, fun and engaging Festival experience for all. Therefore, site requests are not being accepted. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Artist Coordinator at artistcoordinator@findartbirmingham.com. DEADLINE: October 1, 2020 for a 75% refund of Booth Fee Balance No Refund – If cancellation is received after October 1, 2020 COVID-19 SAFETY _ Policies & Procedures MRF layout, logistics, policies and procedures have been redesigned for a safe, fun and engaging Festival experience for all. New COVID-19 specific policies and procedures including important instructions and information will be emailed along with the Booth Fee Balance Confirmation sent in September and will also be included in the Exhibitor Pre-Show Memo emailed by October 15, 2020. Exhibitors must pay special attention to and follow all of the imperative guidelines developed for optimal public health and safety. COVID-19 REFUND POLICY _ 2 Options If COVID-19 circumstances require cancellation of the event, exhibitors who paid Booth Fees will receive an email notification with the choice to receive one of the following 2 Options – * Option 1 - A 100% refund of Booth Fee Balance will be issued within 45 days after receipt of Required Reply Form. * Option 2 – Transfer of all Fees collected to hold a 2021 MRF Booth. The Required Reply Form must be submitted by the deadline given in order to confirm exhibitor’s choice of refund or 2021 transfer. MOSS MAGIC VIRTUAL All confirmed exhibitors will have the opportunity to participate in MOSS MAGIC Virtual, an online event and exhibitor marketplace scheduled to happen along with the outdoor Festival.
