Health Fair with a Carnival Theme: Promoting Health and Wellness for All **FREE Event** **FREE Food & Beverages** **FREE Carnival Treats** Join us for a vibrant, community-centered event designed to promote health and wellness for LGBTQ individuals and the surrounding community! Our Health Fair with a Carnival Theme is a day filled with fun, learning, and free health screenings to empower everyone to take control of their health. This event is open to all, with a special focus on LGBTQ health, providing a safe and inclusive environment to access important medical services and resources. Event Highlights Step right up to a day of excitement and wellness! The carnival theme will create a lively atmosphere, with colorful booths, games, and entertainment for attendees of all ages. From playful activities to serious health screenings, we’re combining the best of both worlds to ensure that our community has access to vital health resources in a welcoming and engaging way. Free Health Screenings The heart of the event will be the wide array of free health screenings available to everyone. Our goal is to remove barriers to healthcare, offering essential services in a community setting where people can feel comfortable and supported. Attendees will be able to visit our various screening booths for quick and confidential health checks, including: HIV Screening Get informed and stay in control of your health with rapid HIV testing, counseling, and education. Knowing your status is key to prevention and treatment, and our trained professionals will ensure a respectful, confidential experience. Flu Shot Clinic As flu season approaches, it's more important than ever to protect yourself and your loved ones. Our flu shot clinic will offer free flu vaccinations to attendees, helping keep the community healthy and safe. Diabetes Screening Blood sugar testing will be available for early detection of diabetes. Our healthcare professionals will provide personalized advice on managing or preventing diabetes, as well as information on healthy eating and lifestyle choices. Blood Pressure and Cholesterol Checks: Early detection of heart disease risk factors is critical. Get your blood pressure and cholesterol checked to ensure you're on the path to heart health. Resources and Education In addition to health screenings, the event will feature a wide array of community resources and educational opportunities. Our carnival-style booths will provide information on LGBTQ health, mental health support, nutrition, sexual health, and local services. We’ll also have on-site professionals available to answer questions and provide guidance on various health concerns. Community Speakers and Workshops Throughout the day, attendees can listen to community speakers who are passionate about health and wellness. These experts will focus on topics important to the LGBTQ community, such as mental health, sexual health, chronic disease prevention, and the importance of regular health screenings. There will also be interactive workshops where participants can learn about stress management, fitness, and self-care techniques.
