Fees & Permitting:
After your application is accepted, the event fee will be automatically charged to the card on file. Vendors who cancel after this period will not be eligible for a refund. In the event of a declined payment, the fee must be settled before participation in the event is permitted.
Please note that this event will proceed rain or shine, and no refunds will be issued due to weather conditions.
No Show Policy
Artists who have not checked in by 8:30 am will be considered a “no-show.”
No-show artists are not eligible for refunds and may not be allowed to be a vendors at the event.
Identification:
All Participating Vendors are required to present Identification during check-in. Please have your driver's license on hand.
Vendor Requirements and Rules:
Vendors must have their booths set up and ready before 8:30 am on August 31, 2024
Vendors must supply a white-top tent that is commercial grade.
The Vendor's tent must be weighted down by at least 25 lbs. per tent leg.
No concrete bricks, milk jugs, thin-plastic sandbags, or bricks are NOT considered tent weights.
The Vendor is not permitted to use stakes to secure the tent.
Vendors must be kind and courteous to all guests as this is a reflection on the City of Duluth.
No Smoking or Alcohol Consumption while conducting yourself as a vendor.
No amplified music allowed.
All Vendor trash must be cleaned up by the end of the festival.
Prohibited Items
- All Items must be hand-made or artistically rendered by the Vendor
- Any copyrighted items must be licensed appropriately.
- No Merchandise may be sold or displayed that creates a public nuisance or large quantity of liter.
- No Food Or Beverages may be sold at the Vendor Booths.
Booth Attendance
Artists and vendors must have their booth managed at all times. At no time should a Vendor's booth be unattended during the festival.
Advertising
Vendors are not allowed to "walk" the event to pass out marketing materials. You may give out materials if guests approach your booth only.
Sales Tax
Artists are responsible for collecting and reporting Sales Taxes.
Indemnification
Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless ToonFest, The ToonHeadz Caricature Co LLC, and The City of Duluth against any accidents that may occur to their merchandise, artwork, and personal belongings. Additionally, vendors acknowledge that any bodily injuries will not be attributed to ToonFest, The ToonHeadz Caricature Co. LLC, or The City of Duluth.
Parking Details/ Load In
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Vendors will NOT be able to pull up to their spot, please bring all necessary wagons or carts to transport your items.
Prior to unloading, please check in. The check-in booth will be operational between 5:30 am and 8:00 am. Further information regarding the location of the check-in booth will be communicated via email at a later time.
There are two designated load-in locations.
One will be located off of W. Lawrenceville St. and the other will be off of Hill St NW
After Check-In there will be instructions on which location to use to unload.
Upon arrival at the designated unload zone, promptly unload your materials. You may transport them to the booth only after moving your vehicle, allowing other vendors to unload efficiently.
