About the event
Each year during the first weekend in May, people gather in the streets of downtown Conway for Toad Suck Daze. The free-admission, family festival has something for all ages: local and national musical entertainment, retail vendors and arts and crafts booths, carnival rides, children’s activities, and of course, the World Championship Toad Races starring our amphibious friends.

Thank you for applying to be a vendor at Toad Suck Daze!  More than 100,000 people attend the festival each year and look forward to browsing over 100 vendor booth spaces.  

 

The festival's Toad Market consist of booths selling both handmade and commercial products. It is a juried show, and the selection committee limits the number of specific items/categories. All applications must have a product for sale onsite. Booths that specialize sales of future services or mailed products will not be accepted. 

 

Booth space is $475 for vendors selling commercial or mixed products and $375 for vendors selling all homemade items. Booth spaces are 10 ft X 10 ft, vendors needing additional space need to purchase additional booths. Electricity is $50.  Toad Suck Daze does not allow for trailer or vehicle parking at booth space and there is no provided parking for vendors.  

 

Toad Suck Daze is an outdoor festival and does continue rain or shine. Vendors must furnish their own tent, tables, chairs, extension cords, etc. Toad Suck Daze only supplies space at the festival.  

 

Festival vendor booth hours are: 

Friday, May 2 - 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm (festival opens at 12:00 pm, and booth may open as soon as set-up, but are not required to open until 3:00 pm. Booths may stay open until 10:00 pm when festival shuts down)

Saturday, May 3 - 10:00 am - 7:00 pm (booths may stay open until 10:00 pm when festival shuts down)

Sunday, May 4 - 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Festival set-up will take place on Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

Must love toads...or at least be able to handle them occasionally if necessary! Toad Dome volunteers help with the World-Famous Toad Races. Volunteers may be asked to help to control the racing line, corral runaway toads, and call the winners of races among other duties. This role requires someone who can stand for longer periods of time. All volunteers must check-in at the volunteer check-in booth before reporting to their volunteer location.

The excitement never stops in Toadal Kids Zone! Toadal Kids Zone volunteers assist committee members to ensure that the area is running smoothly. Volunteers may be asked to help with general clean-up of the area throughout their shift, assist with stage performance groups, or oversee the activity and play areas among other duties. All volunteers must check-in at the volunteer check-in booth before reporting to their volunteer location.

Want to have a little fun with STEM? Tinkerfest is the festival's hands-on STEM activity area. The activities are organized and facilitated by Museum of Discovery. Volunteers will assist museum educators to facilitate organized activities. A lot of hands-on creating and play is in store for volunteers! All volunteers must check-in at the volunteer check-in booth before reporting to their volunteer location.

One of the Festival's NEWest areas! Toadally Outdoors features activities that explore the science and fun of being outdoors. Several groups associated with outdoor resources and conservation will lead activities throughout the weekend. Volunteers will be on hand to assist with activities. All volunteers will check-in at the volunteer check-in booth before heading to their volunteer location.

Be a part of making it all happen! Set-up volunteers help to get the festival ready for attendees. These volunteers are literally the backbone of the festival. Depending on the shift, volunteers may help to deliver tables and chairs, put up tents, unload vehicles, and more. This role requires heavy lifting and at times, walking the festival grounds. Set-up volunteers must be able to lift and carry heavy items. Depending on the shift, volunteers will check in either at the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce (900 Oak Street) or at the volunteer check-in booth before reporting to their volunteer location.
