So, we’re looking for the fastest barbers to compete. However, sharpness of fade should not be sacrificed. You must be able to perform a supreme cut quickly. First, models must have at least a number 2 length on top or higher, no pre-cut lines, and no shape-ups. Second, hair must be cut to 1.5 inches on top and bald on side. Barbers are judged on the speed, blend, cleanliness of line, and overall cleanliness of the haircut. First, the finishing style must be a true low fade. Second, the length on top of the head must be at least 1.5 inches. And, the haircut must be bald on the sides to show the full transition. The Babyliss Pro Skills Challenge is a freestyle twist between barbers and stylists cuts; this is the chance to show your edge and creativity. This is a competition for professional barbers and stylist to take part in an opportunity to present their new talents amongst fellow barbers and stylist. They must create styles that reflect their own individual designs. The haircut must be creative. This is a Total Look Competition. Both the competitor and Model most complement each other’s attire. Both Barbers and Stylist will compete at the same time and judged accordingly. You are allowed to cut with any variety of cutting tools. You will have 30 min to execute a finished cut and total look.
