Cat Bryant is a local artist specializing in watercolor and mixed media. Description
Patty Jackson teaches tap and musical theater at Footnotes. Patty moved to Lehigh Acres in 1986 and holds a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami. Prior to moving to Lehigh, she and her husband Mike Jackson owned and operated two dance studios in Kansas City, Mo and Belton, Mo. Patty started dancing when she was 3 years old. She studied at the University of Miami, University of Missouri in Kansas City, as well with Dorothy Shepherd, Jo Tremaine, Gus Giordano, David Howard, Alvin Alley Dance Company, and Charles Kelly. Before opening her dance studio she danced professionally at many local clubs in the Kansas City area. She has choreographed many musicals performed at the local level, half-time shows for Olympic exhibitions, and MTV. She has coached students who have won several State and National Championships. She and her Dancing Divas qualified as members of the United States Tap Dance Team and won 2nd place in the World Tap Dance Championship in Berlin, Germany. She has judged numerous beauty pageants and talent contests in the Mid America area including the Miss Teen contest in Missouri, Miss Pre-Teen in Florida, and National Miss Pre-Teen Contest. Patty is a member of the International Association of Dance Medicine Science, Professional Dance Teachers Association, Dance Masters of America, Performing Arts Medicine Association, the National Baton Twirling Association, American Business Women's Association, National Baton Twirling Association, and Tri Beta Honor Society. Patty's projects are Dance Unlimited which is teaching children with disabilities to dance, and the Kinetic Rhythmic Dance Therapy. Description
Alex Burden is a Florida-born musician and music educator residing in LaBelle, Florida. There, he is the music teacher at LaBelle High School. Concurrent with his duties at LHS, he also teaches private and group instrumental music lessons and performs regularly with various professional ensembles throughout Southwest Florida. Burden holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree with an instrumental concentration from the Bower School of Music at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida. There he studied under world-renowned saxophonist Mario Bernardo. He also holds an Associate of Arts degree with a Music Education and Saxophone Performance concentration from Eastern Florida State College where he was a student of James Bishop. During his time at the Bower School of music, he served as principal saxophonist in the FGCU Wind Orchestra, lead alto in the Jazz Band Flight: Jazz at FGCU, and played soprano saxophone in the Bower Saxophone Quartet. Alex was selected to play tenor saxophone in the 2017 National Intercollegiate Band as well as principal alto saxophone in the 2017 Florida All-State Intercollegiate Band and tenor saxophone in the 2016 Florida All-State Intercollegiate Band. In November of 2015, Alexander participated in a critically acclaimed performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City with the FGCU Wind Orchestra. At the LHS booth, children will have the opportunity to learn about and try various brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments. The LaBelle High School Booster Band Club is hosting a session at the Barron Park Gazebo location. We are offering a total of five (5) tickets to participate in the session.
