New Year's Eve at Molten Makerspace Tickets

This ticket is for entry to New Year's Eve at Molten Makerspace. It includes gaming. Candlemaking and glassblowing are not included.

Choose to make a reusable glass straw, drink stirrer, or candle wick dipper!! Learn the art of shaping molten glass. In this class, you will learn the basics of flameworking. All students must wear long pants, closed toed shoes, and tie long hair back. Anyone who does not adhere to the dress code cannot participate in the class and will not be refunded. All glass work must be annealed (slow, controlled cooling process) to ensure strength of glass. Because of this, items can be picked up a maximum of one week later, or shipped. Broken glass is part of the learning process! Molten Makerspace, LLC. is not responsible for repairs of broken glassworks.

Welcome into the wonderful world of candle making! In this class you will create 2 wonderfully custom scented candles with custom labels, all while doing so in a eco-friendly, sustainable way. Your candles will burn without toxins or carcinogens, creating a positive impact in your home and your world. Join us in this wax filled adventure, and Illuminate Your Journey. In this class you will learn the basics of candle making such as: – How to prepare and choose your vessels – How to properly wick vessels – How to choose your fragrances – How to help your candles burn effectively – Candle care basics Great for all levels of chandlers (a great title for candlemakers!). This class is open to all types of candle makers. Whether you’ve never made a candle, or if you’re a seasoned professional, this class is for you! Ages 10+. Students under 15 must have a parent/guardian present. Students should wear long pants and closed-toed shoes that they do not mind getting dirty. Aprons will be provided to help protect against spills (while rare), but precaution should be taken against hot wax. Those not wearing closed toed shoes will not be able to participate in the class and will not be refunded. All candles must be fully cooled in order to prevent the deformation of the candles in transit. After the class, students may pick up their candles up to a week after the class, or they can be shipped.
